All about the Israeli M15 Respirator

All about the Israeli M15 Respirator/Gas Mask.
The M15 respirator is made for the Israeli Defence Forces and a few other organisations by Shalon rubber company, The M15 is clearly based on the Drager M65 respirator, however it has a drinking tube and voice diaphragm built into the mask, the mask is made from fairly thick and robust rubber with a 5 point rubber head harness with 4 fast adjustment straps.
M15 gas masks often turn up on the surplus market for around $30 and for that price they are a bargain, my mask is from the 1970s and is still in very good working condition.
Israeli Type 80 filters are also very good.
