The garden is bursting and it’s time to help the plants finish strong. In today’s video, I’m out in the garden trellising peppers that are finally heavy with fruit, and showing you how I top my tomato plants late in the season to redirect their energy into ripening what’s already on the vine.
Then we head to the kitchen where I make a batch of pickled peppers—an easy and delicious way to preserve that abundance.
If you're gardening in a short season like I am, these small end-of-summer steps can make a big difference in your harvest.
Let me know in the comments how your garden is doing and what you’re preserving right now!
