Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand

Matthew 14:13–21

13 When Jesus heard this, he departed in a boat by himself to a deserted place. The people heard about it and followed him on foot from the towns.

14 When Jesus went away, he saw a large crowd; he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

15 When evening came, his disciples came to him and said, “This is a deserted place, and the hour is already late. Send the crowds away so that they can go into the villages and buy food for themselves.”

16 But Jesus said to them, “They do not need to go away; you give them something to eat.”

17 They said to him, “We have only five loaves of bread and two fish here.”

18 He said to them, “Bring them here to me.” 19 He ordered the crowd to sit down on the grass. Then he took the five loaves and the two fish, looked up to heaven, and blessed them. He broke them and gave them to his disciples, who then gave them to the people.
20 They all ate and were satisfied, and they took up twelve baskets full of leftovers.
21 The number of those who ate was about five thousand, not counting women and children.

These original short videos depict scenes from the life of Jesus Christ, from the angel announcing the birth of Jesus Christ to the Savior's Resurrection. We hope that these New Testament videos will help people visualize what they could only imagine and help them better understand the life and ministry of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
