Welcome to Dude RV I appreciate you stopping by And of course y'all say it with me. You got here just in time. That's right. Just in time because is Friday time for another edition of friday's of funs background watchers Yeah, somebody saw a video about a van not too long ago And there were a lot of questions Like did you get rid of trudy? No, we didn't get rid of trudy thunder. We just built a house for trudy thunder She's still in the garage Yep, he just needed a driver. That's all she just needed a driver She just needed a way to haul dogs and Makeup and curling irons and stuff like that. So anyway So i'm in the middle of projects on that so stay tuned you'll see the big reveal And we're still working on the inside of the house too, you know somebody We have full-time gigs so And one of my full-time gigs That's opening boxes We got several on the table today and one of them is Really heavy and one of them not so much so we're gonna go from heaviest to lightest Heaviest to lightest What a novel idea and as you can see i'm still Trying to sort out the light situation out here Garvey now before we get into this we're gonna kick it off in case you don't know Friday's finds Is typically a collection of you know about six products or so long format 20 to 30 minutes We open boxes and then I put the products to work if you see it. It actually does its job sometimes i'll do a one product video and that's called a Pop-up friday's fans pop-ups. Meanwhile All most all of these items can be found on amazon and being the gracious host that I am i'm going to provide you with some stupendous purchase opportunities The first purchase opportunity will be will be a card right up here That card will have a link that finds 2025 shopping list on the dude rv gear Recommendations page if you don't want to mess with that shopping list Then in the description down below you will find direct product links that will take you directly to the listing on amazon Your business is most appreciated those links down there actually serve the channel better Because the vendors are able to track where their traffic is coming from that Stimulates them to send more stuff for us to work with Okay, now that we got the business out of the way i'm gonna get up off the concrete the cold concrete And we're gonna open some boxes. Let's open some boxes dilly dallying around here too long this first is From garvey. I think I know what it is. Pretty sure I know what it is as heavy as it is It's gotta be what it is Hide the QR code So this is a hardened steel chain, it's actually a set Just lay it out here and get a good good look So if you haul equipment you want to make sure that equipment is not going places So you would use a tie down system such as this Two hardened steel chains and that appears to be 10 feet per chain This is why the box is so heavy we have ratchet strap Boomers tighteners and these work keep them off to the side All right, so now we can tighten up that chain so here's our full Complement our full set It is recommended that you wear shoes if you're working with this type of gear We'll put it to the test here shortly meanwhile Let's open another box I'm on Ramon days and the n-cell battery tester. It's a 12 volt n-cell battery tester And You can I get let me read up on this but it looks Looks like we might be able to test so i'm i'm confused Do we charge it? And i'll be back with it Next It is my pleasure to introduce to you Right here on the dude rv traveling road show memos couch Protector cover if you have dogs or cats or even problematic little children I'm, just kidding Protect the couch. You need a good cover Available in a variety of color schemes and print patterns that are very cool So let's pull this one out and put it on the couch and have a look at it This is a 91 by 150 91 inches by 150 inches It feels like it feels cotton like cotton it's really soft This is this is like a good camping blanket it's two-sided see a gray I like that I like that a lot I think yappy's gonna get into it. I think yappy's really gonna like it So our next item comes to us from h and k Bag, I kind of think they may have sent us a bag Let's see Used to wrap my children's christmas presents And completely cover it in tape so that they couldn't get into it with their fingernails They they were very frustrated with with daddy at christmas I really don't want to cut into this Straight down the hole Ah check that out That's a handy bag I know who's gonna take this away from me I won't get to use this Oh look Place for pins keys Little pocket there So if you're running with a tablet You got pockets in the back there for your your tablet your ipad Your pockets there Put some cash in there in case you need to buy a snack Oh and you can put a I guess a soda bottle soda water put some sody water in there Secret stash spot right there in the back So that's where you put your cash Like that, I guess It lays pretty good or like that Quick access You don't have to worry about too many pick pockets right there and You can move the clip So if you're right-handed it can go one way or if you're left-handed it can go the other Like so Now we need to We need some cargo in our bag battery I'm gonna turn the battery on. Oh, no, we need to let's charge the phone For charging So you actually can maximize if you find a doubler like this a y Power cord see what else we got in here Got the remote for my lights I have my electrolyte solution A couple of little lights. I mean there's just so much so much cargo space earbuds Of course we have the battery bank in here And in the safe protected inside pocket we have a wallet I like this little bag. I bet you. Yep. He's gonna take it away So if you're doing like a convention or a big gathering like that, this would be perfect You could put some snacks in here And you wouldn't have to go find A vending station that's way overpriced. This is a cool little bag the heroic the heroic night shoulder bag. I like it It's a winner winner We're moving right along we gotta figure out what we're gonna do these big old chains And we gotta open another box So i'm i'm not sure if it's blaze core or H calorie But they have sent us A diesel air car parking heater and we just happened to have just purchased a ford transit Well, there's a big that's a big fuel cell right there Big flat Large and flat I'm, not sure what that is yet. It's not very big. That's actually kind of substantially smaller than I was expecting remote assembly is Some assembly is required Thing puts out a lot of heat i'm running it off my Ice cold Uh battery bank gotta be careful. That's hot 330 degrees on that heating Coil now the unit itself. I mean it's a blower. So it's yeah you hear that This would be outside so you wouldn't hear that as much Now a lot of people have mentioned with diesel air heaters That the clicking kind of drives them nuts And they put the so they put the pump outside I'm impressed that'll heat the van up quick I just gotta figure out what i'm gonna do with the exhaust And where we're gonna put the fuel but this I man i'm impressed I am very very impressed with this little heater It will keep you warm I guarantee it you'll like it I know I do All right Move it right along. We're gonna test the battery in the vehicle do the just a general test You can do a cranking and a charging Turn lights on take headlights on about 10 seconds turns the lights off we are Battery test And we're testing this is a good thing to have especially with with this truck, uh, it's Good we need to need to recharge it. We're about 72 percent That's good but there's there's something that Every once in a while I come out and the battery's dead Uh and lights are not on or any nothing obvious There's just something something kills it But this is a handy thing to have i'm gonna keep this with me Because i've i've had several times where i've come out and the battery's dead and end up going to the I actually ended up buying a battery once because they couldn't tell me if it was bad or not Okay, I just started doing it myself, thank you very much You'll be glad you have that. I know I am VIVOR VIVOR wind jams, aren't I? I don't know if that's their slogan or not, but they used to say tough tools half price Boy, they packaged it very very well. They did not want the wind chimes. They did not want the beautiful wind chimes to get away Fancy check this out. Yes, it's fancy VIVOR inspiring charm It even has May the gentle chimes bring you endless happiness Especially for me Oh, okay, so you can have a Personalized gift card with these that is nice So you can do the maybe a personalized message, I don't know i'll have to research it and find out Let me get We don't have a whole lot of wind here in the forest occasionally Occasionally we get a little breeze So if you get different different I guess tone Tone different tones if you get if you have several wind chimes and they're all in the same key Depend Not necessarily the same tone so you can have a lighter tone and a deeper tone, but if they're in the same key They will harmonize I didn't know that I'm happy with that You will be it'd be a great gift We gave we actually gave one to my mother-in-law several years ago, and she just loved it Okay Move it right along So so we have the transit van And we're we're outfitting it so that it's kind of a little mobile living area slash office Dog kennel kind of setup So I don't want to go full out in an rv build, but we we do want to have Pressurized water with us for washing our hands taking care of the dogs this product When it was presented to me Are they oh that's that solves our problem right there the perfect solution. So let's take a look Jerry can breathe Way more stuff in here than I expected Okay We have a battery charger So to get these little batteries to turn on you gotta press and hold the button when the light stays on Yeah, you have a shower you have power shower And it's quiet You don't even hear it when it's running I like this. Yep. He's gonna she's gonna be excited because this is going in her new van over there Check this out We have a kitchen sink in our van This is actually a new oil drain pan A folding table And our pressurized water source. So we have our gray tank on our fresh tank And when you're done washing Your hands or whatever You just go find the appropriate place and there you go And when we're done We can stow the whole assembly One hand so that There And that goes right there And then we have our floor space back. How cool is that? Mama gonna be real happy with that Are on the trailer and secure These are just the perfect length to tie down the tractor on the trailer And that brings us to the conclusion We're loaded and ready to depart Once again, we find ourselves at the end of another fantastic edition of fridays of fans Now if you need some boomers Or you need anything else that we've featured in this episode of friday's fines They are all available on amazon Link is below if you're still with me at this point.
