This episode takes us through three unforgettable days:

Watching her feed on a hoisted impala carcass.

Following her determined search for a male, she called from termite mounds and riverbeds.

And finally, seeing her encounters with both the Nkoveni Young Male (still clinging to her carcass) and the Maxim’s Male.

What’s most remarkable is witnessing the very first stage of leopard courtship. It’s not instant — in fact, the Maxim’s Male seemed completely uninterested at first. But the Ximungwe Female persisted, and by the next morning, the pair were mating properly.

For me, it was the first time I had seen this phase of leopard interaction — and it shows just how much subtlety, effort, and timing go into these moments in the wild.
