As such, Chinese poetry, like any other poetry, as an expression of one’s emotional or philosophical ideals, speaks plenty on the theme of warfare, perhaps even more so than others. Today, we will look at one such poem, written during one of the bloodiest warfare in human history, the poem, 春望, or Spring Views.
