
How AI, Robotics May Affect White- and Blue-Collar Jobs
Amazon plans to use robotics and AI to automate tasks that will save on labor costs, according to a recent NY Times article. Earlier this year, CEO Andrew Jassy made similar comments to white-collar staff about AI agents, urging staff to become familiar with utilizing AI, according to the Guardian.
Amazon is now the second-largest employer behind Walmart in the U.S. A spokesperson for the company told the New York Post that “Leaked documents often paint an incomplete and misleading picture of our plans, and that’s the case here."
