Hello!
Welcome to my fall makeup routine.
I truly believe that your base is the most important step of your makeup routine. You need a nice hydrated base.
And for this fall weather with the cold air,
I have implemented more steps into my skincare routine to make sure my skin is fully prepped
and also looks extra hydrated and nice for that beautiful glow.
And I don't know what it is about fall, but I love using deeper mauve colors for my face.
So that is what I've been doing almost every single day since I felt the weather changing and I wanted to share it with you guys.
So without any further ado, let's start with skincare.
Face is freshly washed and while my skin is still wet, I am gonna go in with the Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid.
I am just going to put that all into my skin while my skin is still wet.
Next is the Avene Lotion Hydrant Intense.
Got all over my face as well.
And to make it really seep into my skin better, I'm taking the Medi-Q
Booster Pro Mini.
I like the blue light more than the red light because I feel like this helps my skin just cool down in the morning.
Because when I wake up, I'm very puffy. Everything's kind of red.
But this cools it down and gets my skincare prepped for the makeup that I'm gonna put on after.
In the morning or night, I try to use a face mask now.
I think this really helps prep your skin for the makeup you're going to put on because it makes your face so
hydrated. I know people might disagree with putting on makeup after a face mask,
but I think it really helps especially if you want your makeup to look really good.
Try putting a face mask on. I feel like my skin changes faster than the weather.
It gets really dry and I can feel- it may not look dry, but I can feel the inside
really dry. For extra hydrants, I've been using this serum from Torraden. It's a hyaluronic serum.
And because I use hyaluronic acid, I thought hyaluronic serum
would give me an extra dose of hydrants to my skin.
It really helps give my skin an extra barrier of moisture
with this weather changing so fast.
And once that is soaked in, I'm going in with my
moisturizer. This is the AXIS Y Panthenol 10 Cream.
This is the cream that
is perfect to wear during the day because it's not too heavy
and it works perfectly under my makeup. I love the gel type moisturizers for the summer time.
But for the fall and winter, my skin just is a little too dry.
And so I like to use a heavier one, but not too heavy.
So this is like the perfect in between a heavy cream and a light cream. And that was all my skincare prop.
Let's move on to makeup. First things first, sunscreen. This one I use every single day. Whether it's for the summer time or winter time,
I think it's perfect to wear
under makeup. And also my friend Matt, the CEO of Roundlab, and I have to say
I only heard the best things about him. So it makes me love the sunscreen more. For base makeup, we're going in with concealer
using 1.5 and the color 2
just on areas of my face that I want concealed. So I used to wear foundation every day, even cushion foundations.
But now after finding this concealer, I noticed that I don't need to wear foundation
every single day. I mainly focus on the areas that I want to conceal. So
it'll be my dark circles and also my redness around my nose and t-zone area.
I think that's what helps me get a really nice natural base makeup look
because I'm only concealing the center parts of my face. For blush, it's now officially fall.
So I'm using this deeper
mauve color. This is called Vital Beige. It's from Chanel and this would be the perfect
fall shade for me. But I don't stop there. I am also using
this one from Rare Beauty and it's called Bliss. It's a pretty nude peach shade.
Blending these two together gives me the blush that I really like
because I love my coral colors. I think it looks good on my cheeks, but it's now infused with some
mauve hue. I think it just looks really good for fall. And I'll get the rest
and put it all over my lid. Going in with contour, this is the Etude House Contour Duo. It's a perfect
natural contour color for me. It doesn't look like I'm putting on a bronzer.
It really just sculpts my face and adds shadow to my face.
Even if you look in real life, it doesn't look like I have anything. It just looks like the light
is not hitting this area. It looks like a shadow. It looks like my face
and then a shadow.
It looks very natural, is what I'm trying to say here.
For eyebrow, I'm taking this Espoir eyebrow pencil in Ash Brown.
And I'm just filling out the ends.
Now I'm going to set this using the Fenty Beauty powder.
And I've been using this method a lot for the summer. I found that my eye makeup
doesn't get runny if I powder underneath my eyes like this.
Now I'm just putting
everything else with this to set my base makeup. And I don't really go over my cheek.
I just get the center of my face
and my t-zone and eyebrows. I feel like by the end of my makeup routine, my natural oils in my face
make my skin look less matte. So that's why I do this step now. On to eyes. I have been loving the
brown nude eyeshadow look.
So I'm going in with my Jevin de Seul little
sample. I'm just going to prime my eyelids with this. Next, I'm going on this 3CE palette
and
I'm taking this light yellow color.
I'm putting it all over my lid. Okay, now I'm taking this color and honestly, I just
use these three.
And I'm going to get the outer edge of my eye.
And I'll slowly blend it in towards the front, but I don't touch the center of my eye. Next,
I think the most important part of my eye makeup routine is putting more shadow into my eyes.
I'm taking the darker colors and I'm going in the outer edge of my eye and the line. So
the outer edge
and then the line like this.
And I've been loving putting whatever's left over underneath my entire eye like this. Then I'm taking this dark one
and I'm lining my eye with this.
The outer corner
and then the under outer corner.
Lining the lash line with eyeshadow is my favorite part of doing eyeshadow.
I think it really makes a drastic change for me. I'm going to go in with eyeliner again.
And this is a new step that I've been doing and it's been really fun.
So I get a dark eyeliner. This is from Tuke
and I line my waterline in the bottom.
I don't know if I'll be able to do it on camera. Let me try.
I don't go too much. I just like to give a hint of color. I don't know if you could see a difference.
I feel like this one is more
smoky and more darker, which is exactly what I want for fall. And onto eyeliner, I will tightline my eyes
and
wing it out in the end.
Yeah, I just think tightlining my eyes
makes my makeup. I will always tightline my eyes.
It's time for mascara and I've been using this concoction these days. It is
the
Holika Holika Volume Curl and then the Etude House Curl Fix. Now the Holika Holika one
is super clumpy and if you don't like that clumpy look, I don't recommend.
It is not a natural look. The reason why I like it is because my lashes look
very visible and because it kind of clumps a lot, I go in with this fix curl
and I go over it. I have been looking for a lot more mascaras these days. For me,
mascaras were always a problem, but now that I use that powder method,
I've been testing out a lot more mascaras and discovering new ones in the market. I know a lot of people
skip doing mascara on the bottom lashes, but
it really opens up my eyes. So if you haven't tried it, you should try it and see
because from my eye shape, it works wonders.
I'm done with eye makeup and we are not done though because we are going in with round two of blush.
This is Fig Chip from Romand
and I just dust it on top of my blush.
And we are going to set this all with
setting spray.
It gives back
all the dew to my face and while that is setting in my skin,
taking the Makeup Forever and Anywhere Caffeine, lining my lip.
And also,
I've been loving this. This is from Vanilla Co.
A nude beige and this is called a lip smudger. So you could over line your lips a little
with this
and it gives you a really nice
smudged patty lip. I think a lot of Koreans do this and for gloss,
I'm using this Hourglass one in the color Rise. It's a perfect mauve
beige color
and it gives a really
elegant shine to my lips. This would be my fall makeup routine that I've been doing.
It's just extra steps in your skincare to make sure your skin is hydrated for the colder weather
and more deeper colors for the fall season. I hope this video was informative and fun and I'll catch you in the next one.
Bye!
