Join me on an autumn photography adventure through two local woodlands after a powerful storm! The landscape has changed completely — fallen trees, broken branches, and golden leaves everywhere. Armed with my Nikon Z7 and Nikkor 24–200mm lens, I explore the forest in search of stunning woodland compositions, autumn colors, and magical morning light.

On the first day, I’m greeted by beautiful golden sunrise light filtering through the trees — perfect for creating moody woodland photos with depth and contrast. Later, as the light becomes too harsh, I share how I adjust my camera settings and approach to deal with challenging lighting conditions.

The next day, I return to one of my favorite woodland locations on the island — this time in soft foggy conditions. Although the fog wasn’t as strong as I hoped and the autumn colors were fading, I take you along my creative process: how I search for compositions, use my polarizing filter to enhance colors, and adapt to the changing atmosphere in the field.

Whether you’re into landscape photography, woodland photography, or just love the peace of autumn nature, this video shows how I plan, shoot, and think creatively in the wild.
