Wish You Were Here - Scottish version attempted

So, so I tried growin’ a ‘tache,
Thought I’d look bold, thought I’d look flash.
But wi’ great moustache comes great dismay —
I start actin’ Braveheart halfway through the day.
Sippin’ Irn-Bru like whisky, neat,
Shoutin’ “Freeeedoooom!” tae folk on the street.
It’s a daft wee curse I cannae quite shake —
No grown man should feel that ache…
Unless he’s actin’ — or on a date.
