SUV Tent Camper Test via Risky Backcountry Trip
All signs are pointing towards a Winter in the Element, traveling the backcountry of the South West. With that in mind, I'm slowly building out the element to make it has versitable as possible. I have been beyond impressed with how well this little car does in the backcountry. You can't really tell from the drone footage, but this was a fairly gnarly road in spots. Also, no bs, this was the first time I've been able to sleep well in the Element. I do plan on getting a rooftop tent but this extension will make the living area much more comfortable for my office work/meetings if/when I get the rooftop tent. I know it wasn't the smartest idea taking the Element out with a busted rim. Not only did I not have service for miles, if the rim cracked large enough to gush air out, I would be relying on a donut to get me back home. Luckily, all went well :-)
