🇧🇷 BRA vs. 🇯🇵 JPN - Highlights Quarter Finals | Women's VNL 2022

It's Brazil in yellow serving Japan in red receiving for this first quarterfinal from the Women's Volleyball Nations League here in Ankara, Turkey, a place in the semifinals at stake and first ball goes to Brazil. The line it's a good one but I think there's a chance to to get up as a libero and she missed it a couple of times. Koga it is with the serve trying to go after Julia B and now it seems a transition here chance for Japan first pipe attack for Gabby is successful. Ball should go to Gabby there's the weakest outside much choice has to go to Lorena they'll get a better chance here now though and four attacking options available still can't find the floor third time lucky well it might not be fourth time lucky then still the rally continues and still it's Lorena trying to get the floor and still Roberta won't go to Gabby she might do now though now is Gabby coming. She can't find a way through brilliant hustle from Japan and now they've got a chance a real chance to score. Nice excellent work what a great rally this is and still it's going not anymore incredible volleyball. First mega rally we're not gonna have time to watch all of it here we might watch it all in the set break. We can use it in the extra big after the second set is five minutes then we can show it. Just when you thought Gabby would get it all done she doesn't and even when she finds the seam what a great defensive play by Japan and a fabulous swing from Koga to finish it all off. You see Japan is not having a solution I again first tempo Japan behind better chance oh good up by Makris oh yes excellent still the rally goes oh it's not hit the floor and still no one could get it on the floor oh wow free ball Japan three front court attackers who will score the ball Japan nobody can score oh Natalia eventually is Julia B and Brazil are level. You have to be fair also on this moment there's not one ball going down not one of the three spikers can score yeah and then you you suffer hurt and of course it has to do that Koga is not spiking her so that's the difference but now what's happening now what will they play the ball will go to Koga behind well maybe don't have a chance oh what a block what a way to take the set Kishi hands across the net and it is now the set for Brazil he said why we played pushing forward well not sure she had much choice maybe could have tried to go to the middle she was so tight on the net to try and get it behind may not have been the option but even so wow what a play what a play Kishi and Carol mostly kiss kiss is good luck impressive you have to see what the hands are going over the net good recycle free ball then for Brazil Carol's not had many swings keep forcing it wide still though the block's working well for Brazil no chance to go to the middle has to go to Gabby it's another long rally both teams in a neutral position at the moment and it is the block for Brazil and Carol who may not be getting many swings is certainly doing a great job in defense at the net sending Koga to block Brazil choose to play against her but they kept on defending eventually it is the blocking that comes get up and out of the attack however line for Gabby line for Gabby it looked close didn't it but no one's challenging it it's too late to do so now there's no line for Gabby absolutely not miles behind a great dig for Japan and still Brazil have got a chance to finish off the rally but they can't maybe Japan can I want to dig and it will be Japan will take the point that was an exhausting rally yes certainly does but there's nowhere for her to go and it's a huge block for Japan Koga into transition again by Brazil maybe a chance here for Japan no it's not gonna happen oh not quite not quite it's still going and now it is finished Koga with the error 28-26 Brazil take the set what a game they narrowly by two sets to nothing she goes easy on them what an angle what a shot that is from Yoshino that ball spinning horribly yeah I'm not so sure if it was voluntary it was so Gabby gets slowed down but well played we've got another chance here Lorena just Japan in a nutshell they'll just keep on digging but so too at Brazil this is smart from Gabby situation's not good wait for this goodness me someone's got to put it on the floor it's not Gabby it might be Koga no it's not Koga Julia B cheeky effort from the back row and still we keep going and still the level of volleyball is incredible and it's Koga who finds a way through referee says in that's all that matters and now it's set point for Brazil and for Japan and they've done it first time I've asked him oh my goodness 25-20 it's game on here you have to stay in yeah and we have a wow we have something very special for the first time Brazil is leading on five or six and normally they're always seven four behind and now they will go to seven four in front Brazil they might not oh that's they will go no Carol not do this you know what I mean oh what a big up oh that's incredible but could yes now it's that Carol was running for the ball on the net good better chance maybe for Gabby now you can get a swing yes well you have to Brazil do take the point but it's not Carol oh what a block by Gabby what a block she's got that one right sometimes look the block is impressive but indeed it was good passing today it might come back nice play it again play again for example no go over on two get it done get it done by the setter he's not taking the ball you see no it's Carol again definitely the middle is becoming more and more of a threat it's coming going with the flow it is behind but it's to who puts it on the floor and it's all over Brazil have got it done 25 14 an emphatic fourth set victory and they've beaten Japan by three sets to one Brazil are going to the semi-finals
