[Music] Good morning, y'all. Welcome to another vlog. I'm in Tennessee this week. It feels so amazing outside. Like, I the leaves are falling currently as we speak. The temperature is just perfect. I'm out eating my breakfast, getting some work done. I got home at like 3:00 or 4:00 a.m. last night. I tried to stop this vlog earlier, but my camera died. The past 24 hours have been crazy. I went to St. Louis this weekend for my cousin's wedding. He had a wedding yesterday morning and then we flew out Sunday night last night. My flight got delayed. It was We were on the tarmac. I was going to be stuck in Chicago. I had a layover. There was It was this whole thing. Literally no one cares about flight drama. I got home at like 4:00 a.m. I am so tired and we are moving on. If you guys are new to my channel, I'm currently living between Texas and Tennessee. This is a rental house. I own my house in Texas. I lived there as like my primary residency, but I've been splitting about 50/50 since April and I actually only had this rental for a couple more weeks. I am leaving at the beginning of November, which I'm really sad because I'm sad to be leaving my friends here. I love them and like it's so fun. I'm definitely a Dallas girl. Like I'm excited to be back in Texas full-time and more than anything, I'm just excited to be in like one place and like get everything together. I feel like my life has kind of been at like a standstill in a weird way. Like my life is so different than it was when I first moved here like part-time. Today is Monday. I'm just realizing after I was sending everyone like work text that it is a holiday. So I've been getting work done all day and I'm actually about to go to my friend Lily's house. Lily is one of my friends in Tennessee. I love her. We actually she used to live in Dallas and we had followed each other then. She's a big needle point girly and we just got close when I moved back here. I'm going over there cuz tonight she's going to teach me how to self finish like ornaments and bag tags. And we're also going to film like a whip Wednesday and stuff. This is a cozy week in Tennessee. I do have some recordings. I'm hosting a regretting you like movie screening thing which will be really exciting. One of my best friends from college is actually moving here tomorrow. So, there's a lot on the agenda. Also, I can't decide if I hate this set or if I love this set. It's from Abberrombi. I have like a matching hoodie. I feel like it is a lot. Even though like to the naked eye, like it probably does really look like me. I I just can't tell. Like I really as far as like the pattern. I think maybe I'm just like not a pattern girly for sweats or maybe I'm just overthinking it. We are heading off to Hobby Lobby because I need to get a couple more things for tonight's [Music] Hi y'all. This is a big needle point vlog, at least at the beginning. And then I'm doing this cutie little champagne alligator from Lysette. I'm like obsessed with this and have already done it's like pear piece. So, I'm going to have these two guys like sitting on my bar eventually and I'm just like obsessed with them. So, I'm almost done with this one. the background of her stuff. My goal is to have it done by the Super Bowl. >> So I feel like that's I think I could do that especially like with the holidays and stuff. >> Um yeah. And then she's going to teach us how to self finish. >> I will have Cow Town the I talked about this in the vlogs already, but they sent they have like this online guide that she learned how to self finish a project. So I'll have it linked below and I think I have a code. Lily definitely has a code. So that'll be exciting. And then we're going to learn that tonight. And then I will be well I don't think we're actually I don't the things that I'm going to be working on finishing are going to be this little TS12 bag charm for my niece and then Martha and aa as ornaments which I'll get into what I got from them for Hobby Lobby. >> But it's just so fabulous. >> I know. I got this leopard one for the back of the bag charm for so >> and then I saw this strawberry one which is kind of cute. >> So cute. And then I got this one too just because it was basic colors and I wanted to do that for Martha. >> And then all of my like stand up. >> Hi y'all. Happy Tuesday. I got a new bag off the real real which is exciting. I've had this bag for six or seven years. I got it in college. I don't even know how to pronounce the name of the bag and I don't know what size it is. If anyone knows this size, please let me know. I get asked this all the time. I cannot for the life of me find the receipt. And I have just used this bag over and over and over again. Like it's truly been one of my best purchases. I think I got it for like 500 bucks on the Real Rail, which is like really good. And it's just the best bag ever. Well, on Pinterest the other day, which I'm like really back on Pinterest, I saw someone have this bag and had a bunch of stuff on it and I was like, "Oh my god, that's so perfect." Because sometimes like I love the shape. It fits so much stuff. But I also need a bag that's like better for traveling. Like I don't know, like something that's cute, can hold more stuff. I'm like really into like big bags right now. And this one I got for $500 as well. The convenient thing with me is that I like a worn-in bag. So they were also selling these for like $900 that were in better condition, but like I'm not really looking for the best condition. Like I want it to be worn in and it totally works. It's like fine completely. These bags are so similar. I've had this one forever too. So like I just know I'm going to get so much use out of it. This just holds a lot more stuff. And I'm going to decorate it. And then I have like bag charms and stuff that I'm making with like through um needle point. I know it's like literally all I talk about. This morning I filmed a like intro to needle point video that I'll post to YouTube shorts too if you guys just use YouTube. But I posted it to my Tik Tok and Instagram. Anyway, I'm going to deck out this bag and it's going to be so cute. And this will be my bag of the season because I can also carry like little like my little travel needle point canvases in here, my vlog camera, my Kindle, like everything just fits. I need to tie this differently and then I'm going to get like needle point bag charms and it's just like the whole thing is going to be so cute. So anyway, I have been working all morning and filming a ton of stuff this afternoon. Actually, one of my best friends from college is moving to Tennessee. So, I'm going to pick her up from the airport and then drive her to her new house and probably hang with her for a little bit and then come back. I have three recordings that I need to be finally fully prepped for, which I'm pretty much prepped for, but I like to like really really sit down. I I've prepped fully. Like I would be fine, but I need to like get back tonight and like really get back into the swing of things. I'm also prepping for a dinner party that I'm hosting next week. I just needed to share with you guys my new bag because I absolutely absolutely love it and I just think it is so cute. And yes, it might be dumb that I have such similar bags, but like they're different. I have like no clothes here. Wearing like my sweat pant jeans. I need to get all new jeans. So, I need to go to Abbercomi, which is my favorite denim. Anyway, I have a finance meeting. I have my last meeting in 30 minutes and I need to get back to work. So, that has been that. Obviously, my grandma finishes my projects, but I just like want to get it done so like I don't have to actually do that, but I just want to get it done like as fast as possible. All right, y'all. Today I'm recording two episodes, one with Lauren Watkins, one with Tiana, and then this afternoon or this evening, I'm hosting like a early screening of Regretting You, which is Colleen Hoover's like newest movie adaptation, which is really exciting. One of my friends was here yesterday. Lots going on. Also, the difference between my hands and my face right now is crazy. my hair. Okay, I'm on my way to Dry Bar because it I cannot make my hair look good for the life of me in Tennessee. Like, I have a filter on my shower. I've done everything. Like, it looks awful here every time unless I get it done. So, this week calls for a blowout. I'm on my way. I'm wearing like the coziest outfit literally ever. My new bag. She's so cute. [Music] All right, y'all. I'm back from my blowout. I haven't brushed it out yet, so it's looking a little crazy, but I just got two packages. Very exciting stuff. This is from Saison, which Sison has some of my favorite sweaters and outerw wear. I feel similarly to them. Like I do Reformation. Reformation is definitely more my style, but as far as like basic outerwear, really cool sweaters, they're like the best sweaters. Like I got this red one that's just so thick. They just they kill it. Anyway, knits and outerwear is what I love from them. Look at how amazing this sweater is. This is just something I'll keep forever. Part of me is like maybe I wear it in today's recording, but it gets really hot with the lights on. My producer Courtney, which is Shannon's producer that she so graciously has been letting me borrow while I've been here. She's going to be here in like 30 minutes. We're going to start setting up and then Lauren Watkins will be here shortly. And then I got this navy blue coat. Last year I wore navy blue all the time and I love navy blue and I love navy blue with brown. Last year, I just kept thinking to myself like I wish more than anything I had a navy blue coat. I'm not really a black girl. Like I don't wear my black coat very often. I'm more brown like more I like softer stuff, you know? So, anyways, this is navy blue. It's a very dark navy blue. I hope you guys can tell. It does kind of look black on camera, but it's definitely navy blue. And I'm very excited. I feel like navy blue is very chic, so I love that. And then, believe it or not, Charlie has received his first PR package. Um, this brand reached out for gifting for clothes and like I'm redoing that man's entire wardrobe because he like literally has six shirts that he wears and they're like t-shirts. Like he doesn't have clothes. So, we've been redoing it. We've made a bunch of orders recently. It's like all J Crew and all Abberrombie. And then this company reached out which is let's see Tom Beckby. And it's this little sweater thing. So cute. Like honestly, I would wear this and take this from him. And then this shirt, which is going to be too big on him. I can already tell. They just didn't have the right size. But here we go. I've been doing so much shopping for him. I mean, he's doing the shopping. I'm just picking out what to buy. But which has actually been kind of fun. At first I was like, I don't know what a man wears. But it's kind of fun. So I'm kind of nervous. Like I feel like sometimes whenever I haven't been recording, I also feel like a little bit confused with the podcast. like just a little bit lost and I don't know if it's just the natural of it all or if I should really just transition it to be more of a solo podcast, but then I'm like I just feel like I'm talking to the camera so much with their YouTube channel and like the solos could be more topical, but I love having guests on and I really at the end of the day like when I think about what I want the show to be, I want it to be like people are just coming over to my living room and it feels like you guys are listening in on a conversation I'm having with like all these different people in my living room where it's like house guest come over to my house. very cozy, very just like fun and whatever, but I just like have been beating myself up about the show for like the past year. And like I really I just don't know what to do. I think that's the issue. Like I really just feel like I need to sit I need like a business coach honestly. I need to sit down and be like what makes sense here because I put so much content out too. Like I'm not someone who just like my a lot of people just like post a podcast a week and like that's what they post and then like clips and stuff, but I post like a billion Tik Toks, a billion Instagram stuff, YouTube, a full YouTube vlog every single week, a full podcast vlog every week. So like it just gets to the point where I'm like, what else do I have left to say, you know? And I don't want to like stop doing that stuff. And it comes in waves. Like when I think about I don't know, it comes in waves. And like I don't know, I just I don't know what you guys want. I think that's the problem. So please let me know what you guys want. Like I also love the idea like I love the guests that are like the Harrison Wallacees that like we want like a cross coast table on like the people who are very like home hobbies that stuff but then it's like is podcasting even the right platform for that? Like I really just I don't know. So any and all feedback would be helpful. Okay, I'm going to film a little updated makeup routine. I've really liked how it's been working lately. I will say I need to wash my brushes so desperately. I just don't have time this week to like allow them to dry. I've been using the Dims Love Beam Perfector. And then I use I'll link everything. This is a IT Cosmetics brush for Ulta. It's my favorite like liquid blush. This isn't like a heavy full coverage foundation at all. Um, which I like, especially like in the summer, which I know it's literally not summer anymore, but that's kind of when I started using it. My favorite concealer of all time, the Nars Radiant Creaming Concealer. This is so good. I used the color creme brulee and there's nothing like this concealer. I was never even a concealer girl and then I got this and I was like, "Wow." Pretty sure like most of these wrecks of things that I really like come from my makeup artist, Kristen Farah, the best ever. Um, this is not a paintbrush by the way. I get comments about that sometimes. This is a makeup brush she recommended to me and it's what she uses for under eye concealer and I really, really like this. My all-time favorite blush, the Rare Beauty Happy Blush. This is kind of a mess now, but it is my favorite. And my goal with my makeup is to have blush blindness at all times like that. I don't even wear bronzer anymore. I just do blush and I find that it's just like a more youthful look and glow on me. By the way, I'm obviously not good at makeup, but I'm just like telling you guys what I've been doing cuz I do like how it's been turning out. With that being said, I already can feel it's like not a good makeup day. I'm at the point where like I have to brush makeup brushes. There's no choice. Peach Pie Easy Bake Loose Baking and Setting Powder. And I just do this to my under eyes and then I kind of go over like my T-zone, any places that are a little bit more oily. But this makes the biggest difference with my makeup. Next up, I use this Hourglass setting powder that Macy uses and I copied her cuz I love it. My favorite powders ever are always Hourglass powders. I just think that they are so good. Dim Light, which we'll put on shortly. Molly showed me that powder eight, nine years ago and I still use it all the time. It just makes the light reflect on your face in a really pretty way. Um, and I just love it. Just like a really pretty powder and it makes it's just one of those products you're like, I don't need that cuz it's like $50. You're like, what could that possibly do? Like this isn't like a product that I have to have. And then once you use it, it's just hard to stop because it really gives you such a good healthy glow without making your skin look like shiny or sparkly. Like it's just good. I'm also sure that the way I'm applying stuff is not good, but like it is what it is. So I go in and I set my liquid blush with powder blush. This is Pom Pom by Benefit. I love this stuff. I go a little crazy at first because it wears off. And also, I'm on camera today, so I'm putting a little bit more on because it always washes me off. Anyway, or washes me out. Anyway, I just bought tickets to Parade of Homes this weekend in Nashville or on Friday. I'm so excited. Like, we're going to be able to go tour all the like sickest houses. Like, this is truly my dream come true. A recent product that I love, like love, love. It's this Dibs Love Beam setting powder. And I use the brighten and I just go underneath my eyes, brighten them up, and I just think like it makes my makeup look so much better. This Rare Beauty um eyebrow gel, I love this stuff. It really holds your brows up. Sometimes I'll go a little too intense on accident. It looks like I have like the micro braid blading brows, which like I honestly don't even hate. I know everyone hates that trend. I don't hate it. Anyways, I'm trying not to do that though cuz I do feel like it's a little too intense for like me, but I I don't I don't hate it, guys. Like, I really don't. Okay, my favorite mascara is actually the Ding mascara, but it's not in here. And I went on a trip with my sister this weekend, and I can only imagine I can bet where that thing went. This is Too Faced Better Than Sex brown mascara. I love a brown mascara. Always have to curl my lashes, literally always. All right. Okay. And then I put on my lip products, which we're not going to do right this second because I want to do it closer to the recording. It sounds disgusting. It's not the good morning drink in Dallas at Tribal. Have I ever made you when you visited get that drink? It's like fresh grape juice espresso. It looks disgusting.
