No Kings

Kings rule by the will of the divine, on the basis of their goodness. They are servants of the people, not to be tyrants. In time, tyrant kings who rule with pride and cruelty and exploit their position will fall.

The United States was formed in response to the corruption of many kings, queens and emperors in Europe at the time. George Washington had good reason to ensure that the US would never be ruled by a King, or a leader with un-checked power.

It is a beautiful Spring day in my garden here in Australia.
