The frame of Scandinavian C24 timber and KVH laminated timber has walls infilled with cement-fiber boards and 30 cm thick mineral wool.
The design is complemented by large modern high-speed windows and a wooden carport with a bicycle storage room, which—instead of a garage—helps save on construction costs.
What kind of home heating is affordable and eco-friendly?
There are no radiators in this wooden house. Electric heating is provided by infrared heating mats laid on the floor.
How much do the residents pay for heating? The heating cost is 4,000 kWh per year for a house with a total area of 150 m2, including all electricity consumption.
Another dream of the residents was a stable for their beloved horses right next to the house, also made of wood.
