Welcome to the video. I'm your tech guide Wayne and today I want to show you how to unlock your iPhone
17 so you can use it with any carrier. The first thing you'll need to do is go to the phone app
and make sure you're on the keypad and type in star pound zero six and pound. This will show the
IMEI information. You're going to write down this number right here. We'll use that in the next step
of the video. Next swipe up and go to the home screen and now we're going to go to Safari to
the website unlockingcompany.com and we're just going to fill out a few prompts starting with the
manufacturer which will be Apple and the model is going to be the iPhone 17 right here. Swipe up,
tap unlock phone and from here you need to select the country you purchased the phone in.
Next select the carrier and then in the IMEI number box you're going to type in the IMEI
that we got in the first step of the video and then you're going to tap add to cart and then check
out. Now notice right here this is where you'll see the price. It is $27.99 to unlock the phone
and the delivery time is going to be one hour to 72 hours. Process to unlock phones does change
from time to time so they will pull the latest unlocking instructions for your carrier. They
will send you an email with the steps to finish unlocking the phone. Okay and so that email can
come anywhere between one hour and 72. It normally leans closer to the one hour but they give you a
range. I want to point out a couple of things at the top of the screen here. You do have a few
different ways to contact the company in case you need to follow up on your order or ask questions.
There is a phone number, a number to text, an email address and a whatsapp. So you have four
different ways to contact the company if you have a question about an order and basically once you
follow the steps you should be good to go. Now for the new carrier that you would like to use
the phone with, you will need to look up their eSIM process because remember iPhone 17 is eSIM
only. So you will need to follow the eSIM process to be able to link this with your new carrier.
All right and usually it should be on their website. If not you can give that company a
call and they'll walk you through how to set it up with that new eSIM. All right if you got
