Welcome to Machine Bio. Today, we spotlight the world's largest tonnage all-terrain crane.
The Zoom Lion ZAT 40000 H7, engineered to conquer the impossible,
redefining the limits of power and precision. And without a further due. Let's get it on.
Unveiled at SICY 2025, the Zoom Lion ZAT 40000 H7 stands as a groundbreaking feat in heavy
lifting technology. With a record-breaking lifting capacity of 4000 tons, this all-terrain crane is
now the largest tonnage crane of its kind in the world, representing the latest in Zoom Lions for
Designed for the most demanding infrastructure and wind power installation projects,
the ZAT 40000 H7 is equipped with a 95.4-meter ultra-long main boom,
secured by dual-side pins, requiring minimal assembly space.
This feature makes it ideal for working in tight or elevated environments,
such as mountainous wind farms or urban infrastructure sites.
One of its standout capabilities is autonomous boom raising,
eliminating the need for auxiliary cranes during wind turbine installations up to 160 meters high.
The lifting performance of Zoom Lion's ZAT 40000 H7 are quite impressive.
At a height of 125 meters and a radius of 20 meters, the lifting capacity is 317 tons.
At a height of 140 meters and a radius of 22 meters, the lifting capacity is 281 tons.
At a height of 160 meters and a radius of 24 meters, the lifting capacity is 236 tons.
At a height of 170 meters and a radius of 26 meters, the lifting capacity is 218 tons.
turbines. At a height of 180 meters and a radius of 28 meters, the lifting capacity
is 190 tons. The Z80 4000 H7 is capable of lifting 10 MW wind turbines at a height of
160 meters and 7.0 MW wind turbines at a height of 190 meters. This means the Z80 40000 H7
can effortlessly lift 10 MW wind turbines at 160 meters and even 7.0 MW turbines at
190 meters, setting a new benchmark in high altitude lifting. Despite its massive capacity,
the crane is surprisingly compact. It rides on a 10-axle chassis, just 3 meters wide and
22.5 meters long, comparable to a typical 9-axle crane. It's fully highway legal and
purpose-built for difficult terrain, with a 6-plus-2 drive system enabling it to climb
slopes over 20 percent, even while carrying its main boom. With a low center of gravity
and an overall height of just 6 meters, it maintains stability and safety while moving
under heavy loads. Setup is fast and efficient, dual motors on a single winch reduce rope
threading time to just 40 minutes, and full setup at 180 meters can be completed in only
30 minutes. Additionally, the crane's innovative 1.4 M counterweight displacement reduces transport
needs, cutting down on two trailers per relocation, and requiring just 22 trailers for full-scale
wind turbine installation setups. Built with the future in mind, the Z80 40000 H7 is engineered
to handle 15 MW wind turbine installations, meeting the demands of the global renewable
energy push over the next decade. With the Z80 40000 H7, ZoomLion not only sets a new
standard in heavy-lift engineering, but also delivers a powerful, efficient, and forward-looking
solution for the evolving energy and infrastructure sectors. Give us a thumbs up if you liked
