Where Water Meets Concrete | A Curved Lakefront House Design
This stunning curved concrete house embraces the lagoon and sunlight in a seamless dialogue between architecture and landscape. Designed to follow the natural light and the tangential views of the water, the home’s unique curving form transforms every space into a frame for nature.
The ground floor serves as an open, public realm where the kitchen takes center stage — a deliberate request from the owners. Slightly elevated above the living area, it offers unobstructed views toward the lagoon, ensuring that social life and the surrounding landscape coexist effortlessly. From here, the main environment extends into a large covered gallery, surrounded by greenery on three sides.
A double-edged infinity pool merges visually with the lagoon, blurring the line between architecture and water. On this level, a guest suite offers privacy and independence, connected to the main volume yet distinctly separate — ideal for hosting without compromising intimacy.
Upstairs, three bedrooms occupy the private wing, with the master suite positioned parallel to the lake, ensuring breathtaking panoramic views from sunrise to sunset.
Materially, the design is a study in contrast and texture. The ground floor is cast in exposed concrete, grounding the structure with solidity and permanence, while the upper level features black plaster, paired with wooden and aluminum brise-soleil that filter the sun and animate the façade throughout the day.
This home is not only an architectural statement but also an exploration of light, curvature, and landscape — where concrete becomes poetic, and living turns into a natural extension of the lagoon’s rhythm.
