a day in my life at edinburgh university 💌 fourth year student

Good morning guys. Welcome or welcome back to my channel. Friday the 10th of October. I actually don't have anything on uni today, which is surprising because usually I do have something on a Friday. But I just thought I'd bring you with me for a little day in my life. Quite an exciting day. One of my courses. Next week I have a presentation where I have to talk about a couple of exhibitions that I've been to that relate to my work. So that's what I'm going to do today. I'm going to head out to those. But how is everybody doing? I cannot believe it's already this far into October. I do not understand where the time's going. It just needs to slow down. I can't believe I'm going into week five already at uni. I feel like I honestly just got back. I was in the studio for the entire day yesterday painting and I actually just don't like anything that I'm painting at the minute. Sometimes I'm like really overthinking what I'm painting and why I'm painting it. We'll wait and see, but you just have to keep going at it and experiment it and hopefully something will come out of it eventually. I have an exciting evening tonight. We have a Great Gatsby themed party. I kind of said to myself that I wanted to just do as much as I possibly can in Edinburgh this year, like explore it properly for the last year. There's just so much work going on that you don't have time. I haven't had time to actually get out somewhere new and Obviously I need to prioritise my degree as well. That is my makeup done today, but I'm going to go ahead and get some breakfast now. I feel like when I always film, it's always so sunny. Like we've had a really dull week and it's been raining a lot and it's felt very autumnal. Now it feels like summer again. I ordered a digital camera. Very excited to try that out. So I just need to pick it up at some point, but I'll probably do it on the way back. Jacket's from Primark. I was just so impressed. Is this not so cute? I fear I'm going to live this jacket. I'm just about to go to the gallery now. Walking there. What a beautiful walk there. It's so sunny and I'm already so warm. So I'm just walking down another one of the million stairs in Edinburgh for this view though. That is where we're heading. Guys, I just grabbed a bite to eat and now I'm heading up Colton Hill. I also have no idea where I'm going to this gallery. I've never been before, so that's going to be exciting, but it's lovely up here. I've not been up Colton Hill in forever and I used to go here so much in first year. It's just so windy. I think this is where I'm heading, into this building. This is the work that I actually came to see because it kind of relates to my artwork. It's a panorama of Edinburgh. That's me just sat down behind a bit of a tree, so I've got a little bit of windshade in my spot. If you've watched my videos for ages, you'll know that I did come here a lot in first year. I'm not kidding when I say that I could literally sit here all day, genuinely all day. It's so comfy. Obviously I would get a bit cold. Realistically, I'm not going to. It's actually just so peaceful. I honestly chose the best day to come up here. This view is just insane. I love the look of this city. So much. It's literally so clear today. You can see over the water perfectly. I am getting a little bit cold now. I might think about heading back now. I'm trying to think what else I need to do. Maybe just some researchy bits on my laptop, to be honest, and I need to go pick up my digital camera. I'll do that before I go back home. Orange and yellow means summer, it is officially autumn. Because it's like a 35 minute walk back, I'm just going to find the bus. Guys, that is me back now. I have opened my camera, got the cable. Here it is. I can't really tell what the quality is like so far. I also need to get a memory card for it. She's cute. There's a few, the screen's going a bit glitchy at some times. We'll see. Here's the vision.
