My mum, and dad rescued a parrot from a very abusive old man. We affectionately called him pepper; because when he first got to our home he was very spicy, and over the years as he started to trust us. I figured out he absolutely loved music especially new kids on the block, but for some reason hated Beethoven. Pep would scream endlessly if we put one of his songs on, and dance happily to every thing else. When my dad got sick my uncle took over Peps care, and I still see him when I visit my uncle. It's been 40 years since we met Pep, and he is STILL the sweetest most loving bird I've ever met.
