When I open up my eyes
I see wonder in the skies
Sunlight dancing on the floor
Another day with so much more
I take a breath, I smile wide
Feel this joy I have inside
I'm grateful everyday, it's true
For the little things I get to do
Laughing, learning, come what may
I'm grateful everyday
I see kindness all around
In every smile and every sound
Helping hands and friendly cheer
Make the world feel bright and near
Even when the skies are grey
There is light along my way
I'm grateful everyday, it's true
For the love that always pulls me through
Hugs and stories, songs we play
I'm grateful everyday
One small thank you, big and clear
Spreads a little love each year
Gratitude can grow and grow
Like flowers in a row
I'm grateful everyday, it's true
For the sky so wide and ocean blue
Hearts together, come what may
We're grateful everyday
