Crete - Souda Bay WWII cemetery - respecting so many who never returned and remain un-named
The battle of Crete in WWII (1941) was a very important point in that war. So many lives were lost here, and so many cruisers have relatives that never returned. The cemetery is worth visiting just to pay a moments respect, then look out to sea towards Syria and ask what we have learned. We have added this to our churches playlist as well as the Eastern Med because it is a church, more so than many buildings. It is a place of respect.
