The Silent Beauty Among Stone Walls in the Mediterranean | Es Pou House
#MediterraneanHouse #Formentera #MinimalistHome
Set in the rural landscape of Formentera, Es Pou House blends modern minimalism with centuries-old Mediterranean tradition. Designed with three white volumes that weave through ancient stone walls, this home feels as if it grew naturally from the island’s historic farmland.
The architecture celebrates simplicity, craftsmanship, and the beauty of natural materials. Ceramic vaults, terracotta floors, and perforated brick walls create a living play of light and shadow throughout the day. Every space is designed to breathe — with cross-ventilation, framed views of fig and almond trees, and transitions that connect the home to the surrounding fields.
Inside, custom-built furniture meets iconic pieces like the 1934 Torres Clavé armchair, combining local tradition with contemporary elegance. Es Pou House is both timeless and modern — a serene retreat where architecture and landscape merge seamlessly.
