Carving A Little Bighorn Skull

I want to carve this little piece of Tupelo wood into a ram skull. I've spent hours and hours watching the antics of bighorn sheep in the wild. I get a kick out of how they interact with each other. I don't have a lot of experience with Tupelo, but so far I like how easy it carves with power tools and how well it takes the details. It seems pretty strong too, but it'll take a really stout wood to keep these horns from shearing off. I guess this will be a good test. They're beginning to get on my nerves. They seem to be taunting me. Every time I bring out the bug zapper, they disappear. When I put it down, they come right back. Pearl volunteered to keep the flies away so I could keep carving. I'm real happy with the strength of the Tupelo, but just to be on the safe side, I'm going to soak it with super glue.
