Ashton Lansdell IF/CF/P American Girls Baseball | Interview on the Alan Alford Sports Talk Show!!!

my name is so I'm Alan Alfred from the Allen Alfred Sports show Co and I just wanted to get your thoughts on the overall performance of today for yourself uh for myself I think it was really good um coming out I I was actually late to the game a little bit had a few little emergencies happen but um coming out um just like through my warm-ups and stuff I was feel a little a little like groggy and tired whatever but I think throughout like the first few first Innings we got settled in a little bit it was a slower game to start with uh but we got the bats going and I got feel more comfortable at the plate the more I more advanced I got so it was good and then it's my first time playing Outfield in like yeah almost 2 years maybe and I got a lot of action out there so it was fun it was good I F I felt pretty solid and sound all around yeah two years ago that's when you first start a planing out there seemed like a long time I know it's been a while and and I've tried to harp to get myself back into the infield and I did so seeing me starting in Center I mean it's it's not a bad thing like I like to play wherever but uh it was fun it was fun speaking of play you got a a big event coming up next month where you going away talk about that Uganda yeah so me and a few other players here we're going to Uganda doing uh a women's baseball camp it's called Uh through an organization called baseball at heart and it's for just young un privileg girls who don't really have many materials to play baseball and uh they did a few years ago and they're bringing it back in now since Co is over and everything and um we're just giving girls opportunities to play we're giving them pants shirts hats baseballs gloves like all like old gear stuff we can find giving it to them and just teaching them the game of baseball and letting them fall in love with the game that we love too wow that's amazing going be going out there doing that how long have you been playing baseball since I was 4 years old so 18 years now okay yeah so what do you hope that your projecting is to do in the future hopefully your goal um I mean I'm I'm doing pretty good right now like I've been on the home runby x with MLB uh still on the Women's National Team so I still have plenty of opportunities currently but um for the future I'm playing soft at FIU University um maybe I I think I'm probably want to play professional softball I want to keep playing as long as I can and um maybe just be a coach at the end of it all when I can't play anymore but uh the goal is to definitely play and just be in the game as long as I can and hitting home runs S one St yeah so where can people follow you uh Instagram is just my name Ashton Landsdale um I'm not on Facebook really much really Instagram is probably my best way to follow me and uh all my stuff and contact me if needed and then Twitter is uh my last name lelle the last two L's is number one so it's like lell 11 almost but that's my Twitter handle um but Instagram is the best way okay soone make sure to follow you I appreciate that thank you definitely best wishes to you thank you you're welcome appreciate it you're welcome
