Israelis and Palestinians are welcoming
the deal reached by Hamas and Israel.
Here's a look at how residents are
reacting.
>> Thank you, Trump. Thank you, USA.
>> We love you. We love you.
>> Thank you to the people of Israel. Thank
you to the soldiers of the Israel
Defense Forces. Thank you to President
Trump. Thank you to everyone who helped
bring my boy and all the hostages home.
It's such a good feeling and I really
hope it will happen. I mean until it
will not happen, it will not happen but
we are very excited.
>> Very exciting day. Finally the time is
come and uh thank God and thank
President Trump's and also thank for
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin
Netanyahu that we hope this coming days
tomorrow the day after tomorrow we'll
see our brothers and sister coming back
to Israel.
Thank God. After this agreement today,
we ask from God for it to be completed
in goodness, hopefully. And this
nightmare comes to an end so we can
announce that Gaza is staying and Gaza,
God willing, won't die.
>> I want to thank President Trump for
bringing this amazing victory. That's
the name for it. That's a victory. He
deserves a Nobel Prize for this, a Nobel
Peace Prize for bringing this amazing
deal. and we're waiting for the next few
days to see the hostages actually coming
back alive. That'd be I think the
happiest days that we've had at least
since October 7th.
I'm very very optimistic today about the
news we heard yesterday that the
negotiations were successful. After
several rounds of negotiations failed,
the negotiations this time were
successful. We are very very very happy
and we hope the war would end and we
return to our homes and to the places we
used to lived in.
