Dolly Parton posted a video to Instagram on Wednesday reassuring fans she is doing "okay" amid concern for her health.
"I ain't dead yet!" she captioned the video, where she spoke to fans directly.
The message comes after Parton's sister on Tuesday asked for prayers for the country music star, before clarifying she was simply "a little under the weather" and not seriously ill.

to Dolly Parton. The icon herself is
breaking her silence when it comes to
her health issues.
Yep. Dolly has a message for all of you
at home who have been concerned about
her and her health. She shared this
video with the caption reading, "I ain't
dead yet."
I wanted you to know that I'm not dying.
I know lately uh everybody thinks that I
am sicker than I am. Do I look sick to
you? I'm working hard here. Anyway, I
wanted to put everybody's mind at ease.

Oh
yes, she is. She's She's working hard.
She's been working hard for a long time.
She's incredible. According to a source
close to the situation, Dolly has been
dealing with some kidney stones. If you
ever had those are super painful.
Concerns about her health intensified
this week after the singer's younger
sister, Freda, posted to Facebook asking
fans to join her in praying for the
singer. And of course, everyone got
worked up and upset. What's happening
with Dolly? Well, listen. She later
clarified saying it was nothing more
than a little sister asking for prayers
for her big sister. I went into one of
the edit bays where I heard the music
and I was like, "Look, you're not going
to take my Miss Dolly, are you? I can't
take that this week."
This morning, Dolly's message is clear.
She's got no plans to quit. I'm not
ready to die yet. I don't think God is
through with me and I ain't done
working. So, I love you for caring and
keep praying for me.
Always, Dolly. A few weeks ago, she
moved her Las Vegas residency from
December to next fall, citing these
health issues.
