Hey guys welcome back to another vlog. We just left Lee's softball game. He is making his way
up to the championships but we'll see. I am sitting outside of Walmart with all four of the
kids Leila, Sofia, Shukri, and Maxwell and we kind of have a busy day today. We have several softball
games in the tournament plus we have a birthday party that we need to drop Shukri off at and it's
a costume party so we're at Walmart to get a gift and to get a costume and to get stuff for dinner
and then we also need to feed the kids so we're just super busy today and running all around. I
Okay just got home. Lee lost the tournament so he's on his way home so we don't have to worry about
going back to the fields. So I got some ground beef for dinner. I'm gonna make spaghetti and
then some spaghetti noodles. I got three boxes of noodles. I found the cutest glasses at Walmart for
three bucks and they are clear plastic melamine. They're really good and durable. They're nice and
thick. I got six tall ones and then four short ones and what else? I got some paint brushes
because I'm getting ready to, me and Lee are gonna host an engagement dinner, a small immediate family
engagement dinner on Friday this week. So I'm gonna paint a engagement banner,
an engagement poster banner with some brown paper and then I got some Halloween squish toys. Oh so
for the paint brushes a couple of them are for the girls and then the bigger thicker ones are
gonna be for the banner so I can make big thick paint letters with the banner and it's gonna say
engaged on it. I got some Halloween squish toys. I got a Halloween eyeball. This is for a
Instagram reel that I'm gonna make. Some Halloween straws and these ones. Shook got a star for her
angel wand and then she also got some tights because we're gonna do a DIY costume for the
costume parties today and then we got her little friend Sadie's a Harry Potter little, I don't know
what this is called. I found it. Perler? No. Harry Potter Perler. It's a Harry Potter castle. Oh a Harry Potter castle. I thought it was Legos but it's
Harry Potter Perler. Fused bead kit. Oh cool.
Yes. No, cats don't need leashes. This is it. Will you go get me the uh Harry Potter uh toy over there?
Thank you.
Babe, can you do me a favor?
Say bronze left his costume. Yeah.
Yeah, I want to show the vlog really quick. If you guys are looking for a wand for your kiddos,
this was only $1.24 and it's by the Celebrate brand at Walmart. It's a Halloween angel wand
but we're going to use it as a Halloween witch wand. Look at you guys. I got glitter.
You look pretty. What are you? Um. You look cute sis. Look at your sparkly shoes.
Cute. So what are you? I'm a witch. Witch. All right, I just dropped off Shook at the birthday party
and and now it's just me and Max. All the other kids are at home with Leigh and Levi
and me and Maxwell are going to Krispy Kreme because I got this really cool big time savings
book from a girl selling these coupon books for some fundraiser for school or a soccer team or
something but they were 30 bucks and there's all sorts of really cool coupons in here and one of
them is for a buy one. Where is it? Page 53. You are invited to enjoy one dozen original glazed
donuts for 99 cents when a second dozen donuts are purchased at regular price of equal or greater
value. So super good deal in here. There's like all sorts of all of these on it. Great deals.
If you guys have the opportunity to buy any sort of booklets like that and you eat out
and you would it would be worth it to you, definitely buy one. Thank you. Thank you so much.
You too. I'm really starting to enjoy this drive home. It's a really pretty drive. You can see the
whole city when you look back. You can see the town and the water towers, lots of fields in the way.
We live right next to like a majority of the wineries in my city. It's just a really really
pretty drive when we go into town or take the girls to school or anything like that.
It's really nice and it smells like wine. It smells like grapes. Okay, I'm home. I don't know what's
going on with my hair right now. I'm home right now. Oh my gosh, I made it even worse. I'm just
gonna put my hat on. Um I just got home. I have the donuts. I wanted to give you guys a quick update
on the whole shookery in the n-word situation. Thank you for all the feedback that you guys gave
us. Most of it was super positive and um like knowledgeable. A lot of it um most of it like I
said was just really positive feedback. Thank you so much. Thank you for your kind words about how
you feel about Shook and how you think she's a beautiful, intelligent, smart young lady.
I read her a ton of your guys's comments and she loved it and I read her comments from Instagram
and she just was beaming from ear to ear. So thank you so much. There were also some comments that
are saying the reason which is so wild to me that people would even think about this in their head
that the reason my daughter was called the n-word was because she's in a predominantly white school
which so that's okay. That makes it okay for them to call her an n-word. Like I was flabbergasted
when I saw those comments because I'm like so you're telling me that you think there's a reason
for people to call you the n-word. It's okay if there's a reason for people to call you the n-word
so the reason is is because she's in a predominantly white school so it's okay for her
to be called the n-word and that's why she got called an n-word. Calling someone the n-word on
any level on any aspect in any kind of word form you guys is crazy to me. Like how are you going to
call somebody fat or ugly or Mexican or black or white or green pink purple or blue because of
where that they live and just say that that's the reason why. There should be no reason at all why
anyone is using derogatory terms to another person to try to tear them down and be hurtful.
That's crazy to me that is so wild to me. I cannot I grew up in this area there's three cities there's
Kennewick, Richland and Pasco. We live in Pasco which is a lot more Hispanic people were coming
there so it's a little bit more diverse in Pasco but Kennewick, Richland and Pasco mostly the three
tri-cities mostly it's a predominantly white city and area so I can't it's unrealistic for me to
just uproot me and my family and move to a whole different city. Like if you guys want to start a
GoFundMe and support and pay for and contribute to us moving and pay for our U-Hauls, our moving
guys, our trucks, our gas, our mileage, our finding a new place, our application processes, the
application fees, all that stuff for finding a new house outside in a different city be my guest. But
up until then were these are the schools that were presented with so those comments they just
get read and like whatever like I just they make me angry and they kind of go in one ear sit there
for a little bit um I'm venting to you guys about it now but at the end of the day it's gonna go out
that ear and I'm not gonna think about it anymore. Another update that I want to give you guys is
this whole situation is wild to me because it's even more wild because there's a ton of teachers
at the girls school that follow me and are subscribed to my youtube channel and follow us
over on instagram and they're super nice lovely women and men that teach over there that's one
of the reasons why we love being over there um it's been brought to my attention that
I love the school so much because I love the teachers and I love the staff and
the shitty part that's happening with this school is the principal and the vice principal that's
where it's not good it's no bueno but the staff the teachers the whole atmosphere of the school
is an amazing atmosphere and I will continue to put the kids in the school because they have great
academic rates and frankly anywhere they go even if it's a predominant predominantly black school
they're gonna get called the n-word at some point in life no it's not okay but again I cannot uproot
my entire family to go to a whole different city again if you guys want to pay for all those
expenses those thousands and thousands of dollars of expenses for us to move to a whole different
city or a whole different state well we can talk about it but up until then a ton of the teachers
that follow me they're all in support they are all in my inbox and they are basically telling me
don't let this go use your voice speak up changes are made in schools because of the parents not
because of the teachers not because of the principals not because of the board and the staff
not because of any of that most of the changes are made within the school by the parents because of
the parents because of the parents voicing themselves so a lot of the teachers have
given me a lot of codes and a lot of codes and enforcements and policies and things like that
in within the pasco school district so I am going to be all up on it and I'm going to get justice
for my daughter so super quick update on that I am going to continue to pursue a different
consequence for racial inequality at the elementary schools where I'm at
and these kids need to have consequence just like I said anywhere they go or in the workplace or
at the store or at the library or at anywhere that we go as black folks as black people
as black people people are going to call us derogatory names no it's not okay to get used
to it but you're either going to get one an ass whooping or two you are going to pay the
consequences which is getting expelled or suspended or having a write-up in some of some sorts or
there will be consequences to people these kids calling my daughters the n-word and I'm going to
go all the way back to last year when they called Sophia an n-word and did nothing about it and said
that she was making it up you better believe that I'm going to go back and advocate for my daughter
so I don't mean to be all hostile with you guys this is just getting me all riled up you know I
love you guys love you um I'm gonna go inside and we're gonna eat some Krispy Kreme I'm gonna make
some spaghetti and then it's 3 45 at 6 I have to leave to go pick up Shook from the birthday party
so it's dinner time 4 32 I like to make my spaghetti with caldo de pollo it's a
it's just a um yeah did you call my name what's up when you're playing
hang on it's just um chicken stock and it crumbles up
I'm gonna brown this up and then add some onions garlic and green pepper
and if I have carrots carrot I got my little meat chopper it's pioneer woman
that I got from Walmart for seven bucks yay I was going like this he was with Lee she was with Lee
I like what where
oh when I was gone
lately guess what I'm making for dinner spaghetti
yum spaghetti meat be careful you're getting awfully close to that honey be careful
this is hot right here
I'm using the same prego that I used last time it's lower sodium I just add a little bit of
extra flavoring so we're gonna get the flavoring from the gondola dip oil that I added the chicken
the garlicky broccoli the sauce is done I just added a touch of sugar to it the pasta is done
I'm gonna make like a third of this for butter noodles and then the rest is gonna go with the red
sauce
tell them about the thing where they'll take pictures of you
yeah after we eat you guys want butter noodles or red sauce red sauce
yeah tell them it'll be time to eat in five minutes what oh we don't know yet
kids love butter noodles it's so easy okay here's the food it's all done I actually
mixed some of the butter noodles and with the regular noodles and I'm gonna see how it tastes
but there's the broccoli we're gonna watch the baseball game
