Leicester literally now camped on the edge of the area,
falling to McAteer on the byline, able to pull it back,
Fina reacting to clear, as far as Choudhury!
Oh, it's a stunner from Hamza Choudhury!
On the night he captains Leicester City,
he catches one right-footed,
and he's arrowed into the top left corner of the goal.
Leicester have a breakthrough, they have an opening goal.
In January he immediately picked up the ball,
and he's fired it to Stalacic, who's made the save,
but formed a rebound, Huddersfield score.
And what a moment for the teenager, 17-year-old Dan Vost.
Thomas and now Mavadidi running into the penalty area once again,
step over, there's a pullback to Harry Wicks, oh brilliant!
Brilliant from Leicester, super finish from Harry Wicks,
just passed the ball into the bottom right corner.
After Mavadidi mesmerised the Huddersfield defenders with the step-overs.
On this left side is Ashera, and he's got room to run into the penalty area.
He's got Rowan as an overlapping pullback, oh!
Well, he was given the space, and he was almost invited to shoot,
and in doing so he's found the top right corner of Stalacic's goal.
Hands on hips on the 18-yard line, a penalty!
Oh, it came off Stalacic, but it's flown into the top corner, into the ground and up.
And Stalacic on his knees.
Casey McAteer has to score to give Leicester a chance of remaining in the Carabao Cup.
McAteer, a stutter, a step, and a save.
Pushes the ball to safety, he's joined by his team-mates who jump on it.
And Leicester, who twice led, see themselves bow out of the Carabao Cup.
Martí, commiserations, a penalty shooter, always a tough way to exit a competition.
How did you assess the whole of tonight?
No, definitely I'm not happy about the whole performance.
I think that Huddersfield in the overall, because of the desire, the energy,
they probably deserved to win, and unfortunately we couldn't pick momentum.
I think the first half was far from the level that we expected.
We spoke about the importance, when you play these kind of games,
against a team that probably has this feeling about nothing to lose.
You need to start in the front foot, and we didn't.
And from there, I think that we managed just a few moments during the second half
to really show our quality, but disappointed.
Is that added frustration that you then took the lead twice as well?
Yes, and especially the way we conceded the two goals,
because in a game that perhaps we never had the flow, we never picked the momentum,
it was important to score these two goals.
And then we need to do much better to make sure that we don't concede in these kind of situations.
You made, obviously, a number of changes.
Were there some positives in there in terms of the players that maybe needed minutes,
you wanted to give minutes to?
Yes, it was important as well for me to get to know better all the players,
to give the opportunity to everyone to just show that they can be ready at any moment,
and I'm a big believer in that.
So today, definitely some of the players showed that they are ready.
Some of us, perhaps, we could expect a bit more.
But in the overall, as I said, the whole team's performance, including myself,
it was below what we wanted.
It was a proud night for the Academy, a number of Academy products there.
Does that give you hope and confidence for the future?
Not just this season, but going forward, the players that have come through so far?
Yes, definitely, it's going to be important.
And I said before that I believe a lot in the Academy players,
as long as they have the desire and the talent, and I think that's the case.
I think Jes was doing really well, showing a lot of personality in a game scenario
that became a little bit difficult for him after, in my opinion, a bit harsh yellow card.
I can understand, but he showed the braveness,
and then unfortunately we had to perhaps zap him to protect him a little bit.
But then important as well for Will, for Louis to get minutes,
Ben playing the whole game.
So, yeah, I think it's some of the positives of the game.
