Not everyone gets cruising, they like paying winter fuel bills at home (LOL - not), so if you know someone who is not a cruiser - and we were not, didn't think we would like it, and almost never went even though it was at no cost to us - then look at a few films. We went on that first cruise (sent by ITV to talk about Emmerdale). We loved it, we got addicted, and after a few cruises, we started Doris Visits. I would suggest that if someone says they don't like cruising, it is like saying they don't like hotels. That is all a ship is, a floating hotel. Enjoy our port videos and ship tours. Consider, as with land hotels, ship per night costs range from about £60 to a thousand pounds a night. There is obviously a difference. We can dream of £1000 luxury but must be realistic when travelling coach. We enjoy even the most budget ships as they all have such different and varied areas you can choose what and where to eat and drink.
