Thank you, MLB Vet Andruw Jones for conducting an interview after the MLB East- West Classic for the Alan Alford Sports Talk Show at the Historic Rickwood Field!
Andruw describes his East-West Classic experience! In addition, Andruw discusses his hopes on being enshrined in the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
Andruw gives praises to CC Sabathia who received a First Ballot Induction! Andruw was CC's former teammate. The Alan Alford Sports Talk Show will be in Cooperstown next month, to cover CC's HOF Induction, alongside the entire 2025 Hall of Fame Class!
Were hopeful that Andruw does indeed make it into the Hall of Fame! We will be spreading the word and cheering Andruw on! Only two years remaining on the ballot. What are your thoughts? Is Andruw Jones a Hall of Famer?
In addition, Andruw still got it folks! Andrew went to the very last round of the Home Run Derby vs Prince Fielder. They had a three swing each in the Final Round. Andruw unfortunately didn't hit one out in the Final Round. Prince Homered on the very first swing of three! A no doubter too! That's saying much! Rickwood Field is a tough place to hit a Home Run too!
I interviewed one of the Negro Leaguers who played at Rickwood Field and he stated it was even harder to hit one out during his time! The Negro Leagues was no joke!
