Mindelo is São Vincente in the Portuguese Cabo Verde islands

Cabo Verde requests that the rest of the world respects the name change away from its colonial past Cape Verde. However, they still retain the religion that was installed, they still refer to Portugal and use their TPA and other Portuguese factors. They also have some connections to the EU. In many respects, they are very independent and that certainly includes their judicial system. There were obvious moves in Rio to do the same but no signs of leaving the religion they were given at the same time.  

Explore Mindelo, the capital of the island, known for its music, nightlife and lively, Brazilian-influenced Carnival celebrations. Walk through the colonial buildings. Visit its church, the municipal buildings and African markets, and see the Torre de Belém, by the harbour, which is a scaled-down replica of a centuries-old tower in Lisbon.
