Hoi An is one of the most interesting towns in Vietnam. It is known for its beautiful old town and colorful lanterns. Hoi An is located in central Vietnam, about 30 km from Da Nang. The old town of Hoi An was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997.

The best time to explore Hoi An is between February and April or August and September, when the weather is pleasantly warm. From May to July, temperatures soar, making it ideal only for true heat lovers. The months from October to January bring cooler weather, but also frequent rain showers—so pack accordingly!

The most famous places in Hoi An that are worth seeing if you're traveling to this beautiful city are the Japanese Bridge, Tan Ky House, the Museum of History and Culture and the night market.

Are there beaches in Hoi An? Yes! Cua Dai Beach is located just 5 km from the center of Hoi An and is considered one of the most beautiful in central Vietnam.
