Welcome y'all. Today we are just going to jump right on into this and start designing our poster.
So for this, I've got a regular poster size design from Canva. You can use any size. The
technique is going to be the same. So the first thing you want to go and grab is your three
images. So I need a football player, I need a stadium, and I need some water. So this water
is called Marco water. There's not a lot of good water ones in there but that's the one I use.
It's called Marco water and this image is just called stadium. So what I want to do is because
I want my water over top, I'm gonna make sure my water fills the bottom and my stadium fills the
top. I'm going to go in a position. I'm going to grab dude man. I'm going to put him at the top
for the second and I'm going to background remove him and then I'm going to take this extra space
off real quick and shove him inside. So now that I have these kind of lined up of how I want it to
look. I'll make sure I got a little room here in the top. I don't want to get rid of. So this is
going to show you kind of where your water is going to come up to and what's going to show at the
bottom of this image. So when they blend together. So the next thing I want to do is I want to head
over to apps. I'm going to type in image blender enter and they'll be like this purple icon which
might change over time. But for now it is purple and I want to go into here. I am going to grab my
water picture. I'm going to go into linear. Now I want my face to be at the top. So I'm going to take
this bottom piece and swing it on around here and then I'm going to kind of like see where it's going
with this and then I can move it to see how much I want to fade it. I'm going to keep it at 50 between
40 and 50 for here for my strength and then I'm going to add it to the design. Now I'm going to grab
my first one. As you can see the little lines didn't pop up. So a way to fix that is just go into
radial and then come back out into linear. So just click radial and then click back to linear and then
you'll see that. So now I want to go and I want to fade this down to around here and I want to keep
it. Let's keep it in between 40 and 50. And that's just going to be a preference. You can play around
with it and see what you like the best. So I'm going to save that. Now as you can see because they're
faded together right here. I'm going to do I'm going to go into my position tab. I am going to
grab the background and I am going to change it to black right here. And that's going to take that
and get that all faded out and kind of help that blend go together better. So now we're done with
our image blender. What I want to do now is I want to duplicate my water and line my water back up
over top. Once I've done that I want to grab my player and as you can see he's sinking into the
water. So we can go and then we're going to make him as large as we want to make him. Let's make him that
large. Center him up. And there you go. We're going to go and go into positions tab. So if he's not
sinking into the water what you want to do is you want to have a water on top your player in the
center and a water behind. So there you go there. That's your player in the water. Now let's work on
the reflection. So I'm going to grab dude man. I'm going to duplicate him. I'm going to come up here and
flip him vertically. And then I am going to reduce him down to where I want that reflection to come
from. So we're going to do elbows. Let's do elbows. I'm going to do elbows. So that's good. So I want to turn
the transparency down. Let's turn the transparency down down down down down down. And you can leave
it like that. I also go a little bit a step further when I do it. So I'm going to leave this between 15 and 20
for my transparency. I'm going to go into edit. I'm going to go in and adjust. I'm going to take the
sharpness up some because when you do that some of the lines in the photo will get kind of crisp
and the clarity sort of crisp them up. So it kind of gives it that little water thing. So if you kind
of look at this it almost starts to look like it's almost like I don't know more like a cartoony
hand drawn thing in there. And the other thing I want to do after that is go in here and just
add a smidge the whole image of blur not too hard. We'll go to you can see just a little bit of blur
coming in the photo and then add that to the image. Come on. All right. Well and there you go. And there is
your reflection. So. And that's how easy that is. It's really simple. Once you get the technique down it's only
going to take you a few minutes to do. Very easy. And then you can add whatever bells and whistles if you want
to add some light color. We'll just go down a little teeny rabbit hole for a second. Go to elements. Let's recently
use. What did I do. You can add if you want to kind of darken the bottom up and add some smoke at the bottom there
to even make it even more. And then what else did I do. Here's some of my water things. No I had a cool other smoke
thing I use. Let's just see. Smoke. Yes I'm I'm rabbit holing with you as I call it. And you can grab something like
some smoke and something and maybe put that behind there. Put it behind his head and then have some smoke. And
let's say your smoke looks a little too large. Here's a little trick to go and edit and then just take that blur. If
you hear there's a German shepherd yelling at something I don't know what. And just get that and then just get that
like little like wispy stuff behind him. So that's like some little tricks you can do to kind of spice it up a little
bit. And that's how you do it. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. I'm Michelle. Thank you for stopping by. I hope to see you on
the next one. Bye.
