The Viking Neptune is an adult-only cruise ship, which cannot take mobility chairs but does have customers with walking aids. It is a mixed audience of mainly American cruisers, British, and a few other nations. There are no formal nights, but smart dress is expected. The ship is stylish and comfortable and with the top quality food that at least matches the best we have seen anywhere at sea. It is a fun, well-mannered adult ship.

The ship is the ninth in its class and the first to have the result of the experimental hydrogen fuel cell module with a nominal power of 100 kW. She joins the Viking Venus, Viking Jupiter, Viking Orion, Viking Sky, Viking Sun, Viking Sea, Viking Star and others.
