Princess Catherine took the controls of a flight simulator and performed a loop-the-loop on her
first visit to I.F. Coningsby in Lincolnshire. Catherine, who wore a grey trouser suit and navy
stilettos, also gamely climbed narrow stairs to peer inside the cockpit of a fully-armed
quick-reaction alert typhoon. During her visit, the Princess of Wales, who became Royal Honorary
Air Commodore of the base in 2023, met personnel and their families and got an overview of recent
operations at the site. Her inaugural outing as Honorary Air Commodore of I.F. Coningsby,
Catherine revisited the Bella Freud-clad ensemble, this time infusing it with military precision.
The fitted blazer and trousers were teamed with a fine-knit Alexander McQueen grey crewneck sweater
for a nod to the base's chill, black Jimmy Choo heels elevating her stride across the airfield,
and sapphire drop earrings from Kiki McDonough a cherished heirloom evoking her late mother-in-law's
sparkle. A subtle I.F. pin gleamed on her lapel, while her hair fell in soft waves, catching the
Lincolnshire breeze as she met pilots and shared stories of her son Prince Lewis's budding fascination
with fighter jets. On September 23rd, Catherine led a softer grey iteration for a poignant visit
to Southport, joining Prince William to support families and first responders after a tragic knife
attack. A longline jigsaw coat in pale grey enveloped straight-leg trousers of the same hue,
cinched at the waist with a slim belt, while a pale pink tie-neck blouse peeked through,
injecting a bloom of hope into the somber occasion. Black court shoes and minimal gold
hoop earrings kept the focus on empathy, her poised gait a testament to quiet solidarity.
On September 4th, fresh from the summer recess, she made her seasonal debut at the Natural History
Museum. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 43, made their joint return to royal duties,
after stepping away from the public eye for about seven weeks. During their first outing to the
Natural History Museum in London to see the newly transformed gardens, the couple still had a summer
glow with tans. For the outing, Princess Catherine sported a blazer over a white button-down shirt
with black slacks and loafers for the outing, accessorising with a necklace featuring the
initials of her three children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Lewis, 7.
The appearance also gave a closer look at Catherine's hair. After catching a glimpse
of what appeared to be her blondest hair ever during a summer outing, it was confirmed that
she was still sporting summer highlights and let her locks grow down to nearly her waist.
Touring historic textile mills in Sudbury, Suffolk, and then Kent, Catherine celebrated
British craftsmanship in a bespoke Grey Prince of Wales check suit by Bella Freud the Earl
single-breasted blazer with its slim fit and deep-notch lapels, paired with the high-waisted
schoolboy trousers that tapered elegantly to the ankle. Beneath, a black cashmere turtleneck from
John Smedley offered cosy contrast, while black suede pumps and her signature pearl drop earrings
completed the ensemble. Her blonde bob, lightly curled, framed a radiant expression as she
admired intricate weaving techniques, the suit's subtle plaid a deliberate homage to the mill's legacy.
