Guitarist Tariq Harb performs “Danza del Molinero” - a fiery farruca from Manuel de Falla’s celebrated ballet El sombrero de tres picos (The Three-Cornered Hat) - in a transcription for classical guitar.

This arrangement is the fruit of many influences: ideas distilled from listening closely to a wealth of brilliant interpretations, and shaped through the process of learning the piece by ear (particularly the rasguados) and from the many arrangements of it, as well as from the orchestral score. Each guitarist brings a personal voice to this music; here, I am delighted to share mine - one that I am certain will continue to evolve with each performance. I hope you this video!
