A GENIUS TOUCH BY JOÃO FÉLIX finishes the job! _ Al Zawraa 🇮🇶 vs Al Nassr 🇸🇦 _ Highlights ACL Two™

The battle for top spot in Group D gets underway in Baghdad as Al-Zawra hosts high-flying tournament favourites Al-Nasr on matchday 2. Into the action we go. Fourth minute of play. Al-Zawra, the home side, all in white. The first opportunity to break the deadlock early. Decent effort there from frontman Ibrahim Kabadamosi. The Nigerian 27-year-old forward getting a decent strike on the ball but not enough to trouble Bento N'Gol. That is near post cover. Half an hour gone. Very little so far from Al-Nasr. Five-nothing win on the opening day against Istiklal, getting them off to a great start. A little slower to get going here in Baghdad. Half chance for Xiao Felix there, picked out by Angelo. A very good block by Akam Hashim to deny the shot on goal. Not much to write home about after 45 minutes of play. Things livening up a little bit in the second half though. Early stages, ball given away cheaply inside the Al-Zawra half and then a quick breakaway for Al-Nasr. There's the back post. An acrobatic attempt there from Kingsley Comer. That's it. Didn't quite get it on target. Could have been a special goal had he done so though. Four minutes later, Al-Nasr starting to warm up now. He's opening stages of the second period of play. Brozovic again. Now wide to Sadio Mane this time. Dink inside, comes all the way out and then all the way into the bottom corner. Abdullah Al-Khaibari. The half-time substitute on to replace Ayman Yahya. That's an instant impact. Gives Al-Nasr a one-goal lead. Beautiful strike on the volley. Nothing Jalal Hassan in goal can do about it either. Al-Nasr now more like themselves. Sadio Mane through on goal. Jalal Hassan with a stiff right arm. Able to stop him in his tracks there. Nice to round the keeper. Hassan reads the situation perfectly. Keeps it at just 1-0. Ten minutes to go. Al-Nasr coming forward again. Much more like themselves here in this second half. Xiao Felix with some lovely close control. And what a goal that is by Xiao Felix. Scoops it from a standing position. Curling it into the top corner. How about that for a goal? Al-Nasr's top goal scorer this season as he adds another to his tally. And that wraps things up in Baghdad as well as Al-Nasr. Power on and now sit top of Group D on maximum points with a hard-fought 2-0 victory over Al-Zahra.
