The main thing I want to show you is this ghee Guys, don't import this ghee Don't import any processed milk from India The problem is that you can't import any milk product or any plant product from is You think you got 1 kg of ghee and for a month you will be thinking that you got such a big fine that you will be tensed that you should have brought milk I could have brought 10 kg of ghee in this fine So, you should avoid it The main thing is that you should check what are the restricted items Milk products and plant products are not allowed Let me tell you one thing If you want to import then you can get homemade Matari Gujiya, Ladoos These are all long lasting So, you can import these You don't have to worry about getting caught by the customers Ghee is also homemade but it is made of milk Please try to understand Don't mix both You can get Ladoos because we Indians have a right to get it So, keep it minimal so that you can use it for 15-20 days and when you get an idea of Indian stores then you can buy it from there Now, let's talk about Dal and Masala So, let me tell you that when I came here for a starting I got 2-3 Dal and 2-3 Masala which are basic I didn't pack anything other than this just to let you know that I don't have enough capacity for bags You can adjust it for 15-20 days and when you get an idea of Indian market then you can buy it from there Obviously, it is expensive You will get everything at double or triple rate but if you come here then you can adjust it according to pound Secondly, there are World Food section in normal grocery stores like Tesco, Asda When you go to Asian section you will get Dal, Masala and Bhujiya You don't have to worry about it You can definitely try it there and you will get everything Guys, this is very important thing which we have to bring It is not restricted It is over-the-counter medicines I have a lot of medicines like for fever, throat, stomach pain, leg pain You can bring it Make a small pouch so that you can bring it When you land here then you will get different brands of salt and you don't know whether it is suitable or not If you bring small pouch from India then you will get a lot of benefit for some time Secondly, you have to bring health insurance Many people make a mistake that they don't bring health insurance If you face any problem then you will feel that you should have taken health insurance so that you can save yourself So, make sure that you have health insurance so that you can register yourself with local UK government and you should have basic security and over-the-counter don't have formal clothes then it can be a problem So, you can keep one suit which is a formal dress up like if you have to attend a meeting it will be very useful for you and of course you should keep some Indian wear like we celebrate everything here Diwali, Navratri, Dussehra Independence day we celebrate everything so, if you have Indian wear then it will be very useful for you because many people wear Indian wear here so, keep one suit whether you wear a pajama suit or saree it is must because the Indian wear cost is very high and you won't get variety if you get it it won't be up to date and it will be expensive so, it's best to get your Indian wear stitched if you get it stitched it will be very expensive so, it's best to keep one or two pair of Indian wear so, when there are Indian movements you won't feel that you don't have Indian clothes So, guys, the next point is a universal plug If you are coming from India then you should know that there are 2 pin plugs in India and in UK, there are 3 pin plugs and they work here so, our Indian switches don't work here so, if you are coming from India and you have laptops they won't work here so, I brought this to come from India which is a universal plug because you will get multiple things if you want to put a pin and 4-5 things get charged here you will get this this is very common here you will get this in every shop but you will have to order this from Amazon so, I would say bring one with you so that you won't have any problem in the first day now, everyone is fond of shoes especially girls but guys, let me tell you when there is a place to keep limited things I will recommend you to keep only one pair of shoes because shoes are very must here you will have to walk a lot from airport to market or you are going to buy groceries you have to walk a lot you have to go to bus station or metro station so, you need a perfect sports shoes which will be useful in your daily wear and secondly if you are fond of heels keep one heel because it will fall down keep one heel and keep one formal shoes keep one heel if you want to wear it for office because one normal heel will go with your Indian wear if you are doing any Indian celebration and if you are going to a party that will also work am I looking good? so, next point we are going to talk about is specs guys, those who have specs I would say whenever you are going from India take 4-5 pair of specs definitely I will tell you the reason if specs breaks then it will cost 150-200 pounds and in India it will cost 2000-3000 so, it is not that we cannot afford but the main thing is 2000-3000 vs 20,000 I don't think it is worth so, whenever I go to India I take 4-5 pairs it was a big problem in first year because we came here and specs broke so, it broke 3-4 times because it breaks a lot of specs the reason is I use it on daily wear and if students are coming or working professionals those who use it they have to wear it on daily wear and it breaks very fast I use very thin specs rimless so that it looks soft and comfortable and it breaks very fast so, I think I can bring 4-5 pairs and the place is so small so, why not save the money so, coming to the next point on kitchen what can we bring in kitchen and what can we avoid so, guys, I will tell you one thing Sharni this is very important you must bring it because you won't get it easily here when we came here I started sharing my experience it was very difficult for me I had to afford tea bag because I didn't have Sharni and I didn't know that it is not easily available here so, keep this in mind it is very less and if you are south Indian or if you are fond of eating Idli on weekly basis or regular basis so, keep an Idli maker because it is very important I am just telling you the small points and basic a plate, a spoon and a bowl for the starting time after that, when you settle here you can buy some things from outside but I am recommending you for starting initial days now, the main point is that if you see many houses here they are induction so, make sure whatever utensils you bring should be induction proof specially your pressure cooker you need a pressure cooker a pan and let me tell you if you have a fry pan for making tea the three most important things which are used in Indian cooking please make sure induction should be safe and second thing I would like to tell you please make sure if you have a small salt pan in which we can put 4-5 types of spices make sure it is made of plastic because it is very light if it is made of steel it will be very heavy and this is very important because it will save you from small boxes and second thing if you cook or share the most important thing microwave should be safe induction should be safe but microwave should be safe like your plate, bowl or tea cup make sure it is microwave safe so that you don't face any problem let me quickly summarize what you should bring for kitchen a small pressure cooker induction safe a small pan induction safe a small salt pan idli maker and if you are a bread lover then a tawa chakla and make sure you bring a dosa tawa so that you can make both roti and dosa so guys, let's share our experience how long did it take us to make a bank account it took me 2.5 months we are talking about 5 years ago but facilities have changed a lot I think we had 1000-2000 GBP cash and we had a credit card which had a limit of 2000-3000 GBP so it took us 2-3 months guys, look at this we have made a video but now we have to take care of all the stuff it takes a
