I Tried An Overnight Bushcraft Survival Challenge!

Backpacker tries bushcraft for the first time! I am a backpacker with 15 years experience, but I have very few bushcraft or survival skills. In this video I brought my friend, and bushcraft expert, Gordon from ‪@grimgranite‬ (and his new channel ‪@Gordoncrum‬) to put me through an overnight bushcraft survival challenge in the Coconino National Forest of northern Arizona! Gordon designed four basic bushcraft and survival skills challenges for me to tackle over 24 hours in the wilderness, in the heart of winter. Of course who better to join me in this challenge than my good friend, fellow YouTube backpacker and bushcraft novice - ‪@eric_hanson‬! Eric and I had two separate camps, slightly different bushcraft supplies (cleverly hidden in the forest for us) and each had to build a solo shelter, make fire, find and sanitize water, and then take on a final mystery challenge that was probably the most important of all!
