Father & Son Camping Catch & Cook! Firebox Nano Stove Fried Cinnamon Rolls & BOX-POT Blueberry Pie!

Let's face it, camping with kids is a lot of work... Is it worth the effort? I think everyone agrees (including our kids) that connection is most important when it comes to their, ours and everyone else's future happiness. If we can't get along as a family, we certainly won't get along in society. Foundational character and integrity develop at home or in this case in the wild! Camping with our kids is so worth the work! Finding ways to connect can be challenging which is exactly why I'm hoping I can get Luke addicted to fishing Lol! Camping with our families is a great way to build connection because it gets everyone away from the distractions of daily life. Camping isn't enough, we need to find multiple ways... to always be looking for new ways to connect with our children. Making efforts to be with them multiple times every day. They will recognize our commitment to them which will reinforce their knowledge of our love. That way when disagreements do arise, they will already know that you come from a position of sincere good meaning concern, which will help them want and try to understand your perspectives. The end result of healthy connections with our kids is strong families which I believe leads to more contentment and fulfillment for everyone.

To comply with fire restrictions I brought my Firebox Nano Stove equipped with the Firebox Woodflame Gas Burner. I brought the BOX-POT and it's Fry Basket so I could deep fry some of Luke's favorite treats. I brought Firebox Fry Pans for Bacon & Eggs and of course for cooking up lukes favorite camping food, fresh caught trout.
