The Cayman Islands, a self-governing British Overseas Territory, encompasses 3 islands in the western Caribbean Sea south of Cuba. But it is easier to spend a dollar than a pound. Grand Cayman, the largest island, is known for pirates and shipwrecked sailors, as well as deserters from Oliver Cromwell's army in Jamaica. Its banking, beach resorts and varied scuba diving and snorkelling sites are a huge attraction. Cayman Brac is a popular launch point for deep-sea fishing excursions.

Things to do in the Cayman Islands
Walking is fun, and the town is small enough to explore. Heroes Square is a must, as is the rum cake! The fish beach near the cruise terminal is fun, see the huge fish that will play with you if you paddle in by the rock!
