Machida rue missed penalty! - Johor Darul Ta'zim vs FC Machida Zelvia - Highlights ACL Elite

Malaysian champions JDT welcome Machida Zelvia from Japan to the Sultan Ibrahim Stadium with both teams looking for their first win of the league phase. 17th minute and the first big chance of the game belongs to Machida. Great save there by Sian Hazmik. Not sure he knew too much about it, made himself big. Unable to block it off his chest to deny Asahi Masuyama. Would have certainly been a cracking opening goal. Just three minutes later Jonathan Silva. A silly, silly challenge. The short corner there comes crashing into the back of Nasang Ho. Giving Yuki Soma a chance to break the deadlock in the 23rd and rattles it off the right post. Yuki Soma Machida's top scorer this season. Unable to find the back of the nets. The goal frame probably still rattling for that thunderbolt of an effort. Back the other way in the 27th. JDT finally with their first chance at goal and not a bad one either. Alif Iman combining well with Agra Kece. The Spaniard still looking for his first goal for his new club. Just signing in the summer. Then Sian Hazmik pulled into action again. JDT's standout player in the first half. Fantastic stop there to deny Henrik Mochizuki just before the break. No goals as both teams head down the tunnel. Back to the second half and Machida again slightly more dangerous. Yuki Soma from a wide position just takes a deflection. Half chance there for Nasang Ho. The ball smothered by Sian Hazmik. The JDT keeper has been the difference so far. Really strong performance from him. There's another chance. Goes begging for the Japanese side. But running out. Less than 10 minutes still to go. Chance here for JDT perhaps to snatch a late winner. Not gonna catch it. Never really getting the contact he was looking for. Once again it passed the defender. It's a simple stop for Jose Tani. In goal. JDT waking up a little bit in these closing stages as Tito Morty has a crack from a distance. Plenty of pace and power. Always traveling left of goal. So not the result either side were hoping for in the end which leaves both teams still waiting for their first win as JDT and Machida share the points on matchday two.
