Hello everybody, welcome to the Unicat channel. Today I would like to show you one of the most
individual builds Unicat has ever done. We have built this vehicle in 2007 and it's called IN95.
The chassis is a MAN TGA 8x8 with a load capacity of 41 tons and 480 horsepower. Of course it doesn't
weigh 41 tons, the total weight is about 22 tons. The vehicle stands on 16-0-0 tires,
it has central tire inflation system, it has two steering axles in the front. Of course
the wheelbase here is 1.8 meter, then 3.9 meter and another 1.4 meter between the rear axles.
With that wheelbase we choose individually, we have reached a very well distributed weight,
so we have approximately 5.5 tons on each axle. So we run at a pressure of about 5 bar
for the highway and we can go down to 0.5 bar for desert use. Of course if you go to
0.5 bar there is always a danger that the tire comes off the wheel and therefore we have installed
beadlocks on this truck and to be able to put in a beadlock in the field you need special rims and
here we have two-piece rims which bolt together and where you can easily compress the beadlock
while with a normal three-piece rim that wouldn't be possible. We have a short driver's cab which
seats three people and we also have a hydraulic winch in the front, a ramp protection which is
quite strong. This of course can be tilted down to open the engine hood or to tilt the cab
completely. There are additional lights, search lights at the top and high beam lights and wide
beam lights which are xenon which was state-of-the-art in 2007. On the driver's side we have between the
second and the third axle the auxiliary fuel tank and we have a Fischer Panda generator with a
four-cylinder diesel motor and 18.4 kilowatt permanent output. On this vehicle the water
pumps, fuses and so on are accessible from outside. So here we have all the circuit breakers,
the relays, we have gauges for water levels outside but also inside. We have four water pumps
and we have a filter unit which can be taken out. Here at the back we have a space for one spare tire
and we have a slide out that extends the master bedroom.
When we've built this vehicle in 2007 we developed a hydraulic step for easy access to the body.
This step actually is one of the most copied items of Unicat. Let me show you the truck inside.
So this body is 9.5 meters long and it has a slide out in the back so the inner length
is almost 11 meters. This vehicle has really a very individual layout. The body is not really
made for permanent life but for trips for a couple of weeks or maybe a couple of months.
The vehicle sleeps five people and the seating area is very large and comfortable and you can
invite up to six, seven people here. We have really superb surveillance, navigation and
entertainment systems on board here. Behind me we have two 40-inch monitors which are connected to
cameras in the driver's cab. So actually these monitors are replacing windows to the front. We
can do also slideshows, we can do navigation here or we can view the picture of all the other cameras
around the vehicle and the camera on the light mast which is also mounted on the roof of this
body. For entertainment we have a 46-inch tv, we have hard disks to store movies and of course we
have internet connectivity here. Here next to the entrance we have a small kitchen with all the
plates and pots in drawers. We have a sink, we have an induction cooker, we have a coffee maker
and we have a extractor fan at the top. The whole work area folds down and becomes a tray if you want.
Here opposite the kitchen we have the control panel with all the fuses and switches to control
the air conditioning system, charging systems and so on. Here in the central section
we have three bunk beds and each bunk bed has its own tv, own connector for iphone, for headphones,
playstation and dvd player and we also have sliding doors here and here to separate this
area from the rest. In the next section we have wardrobes which belong to the master bedroom.
We have extra storage and here we have access to the bathroom and here we have a heater which
also works as a ladder to access the roof. These small ladders are actually for the bunk beds.
Last but not least we have really a very nice master bedroom. It's a king size bed
in a slide out with windows to all sides, hanger cupboards, air condition, a big roof hatch which
opens electrically, storage is underneath. Of course in a master bedroom of that size
you need a tv. Here is another 40 inch tv, playstation, bose music system
and on the other side we have a small office table for a laptop or computer
and when the slide out comes in this office desk goes up. That's for this vehicle. I hope you
enjoyed the video. Please come back, watch our videos, ring the bell,
subscribe so you get notified if we have something new to show. Thank you very much for joining.
