Family Road Trip Phnom Penh to Battambang & Banteay Meanchey 🇰🇭

We started our family trip from Phnom Penh heading along National Road 5 during Pchum Ben Day, when many travelers return to their hometowns. Along the way, we stopped at Sanke High School for a picnic lunch before continuing to Krong Battambang, passing the famous Lok Ta Dambong Kranhoung Roundabout and the 8 Hands God (Preah Neareay) Roundabout.

From Battambang, we traveled to Banteay Meanchey to visit my mother’s sister, Auntie Woon, in Kork Thnong Village, where we were warmly welcomed with fresh fruits, sticky rice cakes, and rice noodles. After visiting, we returned to Battambang for an overnight stay, ready for the next day’s family journey!
