At Amon Hen, Frodo escapes from Boromir and climbs to the Seat of Seeing. There, he puts on the One Ring and sees terrifying visions of war and Sauron’s growing power. The Eye of Sauron nearly finds him, but a mysterious voice tells him to remove the Ring. Realizing the danger, Frodo decides to leave the Fellowship and go to Mordor alone — but Sam follows him.
