Gonna try to make this one relatively quick man. That's why I got the box cut
open. For the past, I don't know, a couple years I've been contemplating on going
with the Pioneer 8600nex. This is the latest edition of the stereo that's
available and your boy decided to go ahead and get it man. So I got this off
of eBay. Sound of Tri-State, I guess this is the company. Some marketing material
here. They got like all the Pioneer head units right now. So I went through them
and got this. Another piece of equipment. I don't know if this is an air freshener
or what that is, but we'll check that out at a later date and time. But for right
now, let's get the star of the show out of the box. Throw that out of there.
Alright, so there it is man. Your Pioneer 8600nex. Right now I have the
4500nex in the truck man and she's about to come out because this joker's
going in here man. So this is the latest edition. The 8600, they got this and then
a 10-inch one that has the HD screen, 10.1 inch. I didn't want that because
it's a single DIN chassis and whatnot man, but it wasn't that. The main thing
that threw me off is the Android operating system. Don't like that. Stuck
to this. This is what I know. It has the capacitive touchscreen. It's basically the
4500 just with an update man. So gonna throw this in that car. Let's see what's
in the box. I think Pioneer, I don't know if Pioneer still does the in-the-box videos
or not man, but y'all damn sure about to get it here. Alright, so you open the box
up. You got your harness for your power, parking brake. We already know how to
bypass that. You get your harness for your front rear sub, camera, the whole nine
backup cam, the whole nine, GPS antenna. This does have GPS on it as well, but I
think this also helps with your Android Auto Maps, Google Maps, and Apple Maps. One
USB. I know why Pioneer only sends one. Yeah, one USB. I don't know why they do
that, but that's what they do. This is your aux adapter cord. Hopefully y'all can see the
hole right there. Brand spanking new Pioneer remote. As I've stated in the past,
it's got a hundred of these, and then the brand new Bluetooth mic, and the
mounting hardware, man. So the cool part about Pioneer, if I can get that up, they
do give you these to label the USBs, because if you get these head units,
which I've done in the past already, they only send you one USB. You need two. One's
for Apple CarPlay, another one for Android Auto if you're gonna have them
hooked up. Otherwise, it's USB one, USB two. Videos, songs, the whole nine. Register your
product at Pioneer.com, and all the stuff, man. So yeah, so that's all this in the
box. Warranty information, owner's manual, and the stereo itself, man. So let me know,

whatnot, man. I'm not gonna pull that out of the plastic just yet, because I'm
