Start Japanese - Tus primeras 100 palabras!
Aprende tus primeras 100 palabras en japonés de inmediato!
Hello,
conichiva. This short course is an
introduction to the Japanese language. This is the
simplest introduction
you'll find because we'll be using
words you already know or words that
are very easy to
memorize. Even if it's your first time
learning Japanese, you'll find that you already know at
least 20 words.
So, let's start by reviewing
these words you already know, and then
we'll look at some words that have
similar pronunciations in Japanese and
Spanish, but have
completely different meanings.
Finally, we'll review some
greetings in Japanese and you'll also
learn how to say some
phrases. After each video, you'll have the
opportunity to comment or ask
questions, so you're welcome to
ask them whenever you want.
I hope you enjoy this
course. Today we're going to look at some words
that we commonly use in Spanish,
but whose origin is
Japanese. And we're going to divide them into
categories. The first category will be
food. Tabémono. What
Japanese words do you already know that are
food? You probably already know
sushi. We have a word sushi.
The next word is
bread. Bread is absolutely the same. It is said the
same in Spanish and Japanese.
Panama. Tofu. Do you know tofu? It is, they
call it cheese, but it is not cheese. It is a
soy-based preparation that has the
appearance of cheese. Have you ever eaten tofu
?
Take out. Saque is the alcoholic drink of
Japan.
And
finally, do you remember a little game we
used to play when we were kids? It was called
Tamagochi. Tamagochi. Well, the first
part of that word tamago means
eggs.
tamago. So we have these five
words, right? Pam, sushi, tofu, serve,
tamago. Now one more category and it
will be sports,
commercials or rather in this case
martial arts. So you surely
know what
karate is and a person who does karate is a
karateka.
Another martial art is
judo. That's the correct pronunciation,
long. Judo is the pronunciation in
Japanese. A person who practices judo is a
judoka.
Now we
also have sense, those who have practiced
martial arts surely called
their teacher that,
Sense. And another sport that is the
national sport of Japan,
sumo.
Sumo. Well, another category is history.
Requishi and you know the
historical figures, right? For example,
samurai. Now, some words
related to samurai. Katana,
sword. Do you know what
harakiri is? It was a ceremony that was performed
when the samurai felt it was better to
die than to lose
honor. Harakiri
. Another word is ninja.
And if you know ninja, maybe you know
Shuriken, which is the little star that they
throw as a weapon, right? Shuriken, ninja
shuriken. We also have
geisha and the clothes that geisha wear are
kimono. Another category, hobbies and
maybe some of you already have
these hobbies. We have
anime,
manga,
origami,
bonai,
karaoke,
sudoku. Yes, sudoku. This
number game is also a
Japanese word, and there is also Ikeevana, which is
flower arrangement. Two other words that I
can't categorize and that we
use a lot in Spanish are tsunami, the
gigantic wave, tsunami. And another word
that's in history is
kamikase, which were these
historical figures during World War II,
they launched themselves out of the air with
bombs to attack, right? Camikase.
Actually kamase is the combination of
two words, cami Dios and case viento.
So kami was God of the wind. So
there you have two words, God and
wind.
Camikase. How many of these words are
actually known? I think you knew at
least 90%
. I hope you enjoyed this video
and that you were able to reflect
on your existing
Japanese knowledge. Cararama. Good
work with
Nichiwa. Japanese pronunciation is
sometimes so similar to Spanish that some
words sound the same, even though their
meaning is completely different.
Still, we can easily memorize them
if we create a story around
them. For example, we have the word
house. I've already mentioned it in another video,
but I'll illustrate it again with this example.
House in Japanese is
umbrella.
Umbrella house. How to remember the
meaning? Well, think about a
rainy day. You are out of your home and you
need a
home. Here I have put together a list of
words that I will
introduce to you and where possible I will create
a story to help you
memorize them.
What word is number
one?
Look, look, look. This is very easy,
isn't it? Look,
look. The next word is mansion.
Mansion sounds mansion, doesn't it? But in
Japanese the meaning is a little different
. If you hear mansion and
someone tells you, "I live in a mansion,"
it means they live in an apartment, in
an apartment building.
The next word is tango. And
tango. In Spanish this dance is called tango,
but in Japanese it is called a
word. Now we are trying to
memorize many
tangos. Number four,
fits. Cabé is the Japanese word. In
Spanish we have caber. I
fit. Wall
. I fit.
wall. Next word is a casuit.
A case in point is I'm hungry. But
what does a casuit sound like? It sounds like a
little house, doesn't it? A small house, but in Japanese
a casuita. A
casuit. Number seven, too
many. Deás means to
go out. Deás, how can we relate it?
I'm unnecessary in this place. I'm
unnecessary. I have to go out
more. Number
eight.
Deep. Deep. Deep. It's
temperature.
Deep. Number 10.
Mute. Muda means
waste. It sounds mute. You can't
think of a girl who doesn't want to
talk, she stays silent, but what she has to
say is very important. It's a
waste of me not saying it.
Change. Number 11 is sing. Cantan
means easy and it sounds like cantan, not
cantar. You can say, they are
professionals, they sing very easily, they
sing. Number 12,
mono. Monkey means
thing and in Spanish it's monkey,
right? Monkeys play with many
monkeys. Number 13.
Taco.
Taco means
octopus. We can eat a taco de taco.
Octopus. And number
14. Touch. Touch is
clock. Sounds. Touch. I touched the clock. I
touched the
touch. And the last word, the 15th.
It will be It falls. It falls.
That. The world is falling apart. What does it
sound like? You got it right. It falls. It falls. Oh,
no. The world will disappear. It falls. He
falls. Well, I hope you enjoyed
this video. I tried to make it a
little creative. Mm. Good
work, see you soon.
Matané. Common words in anime and
manga. You probably already know some of those words
. These are
words that are repeated a lot in
anime. Let's see.
Words that have to do with
family. For example, we have dad and
these are three ways to call dad.
Otosam, tocham,
oyaye. We have
mom and two ways to call her are
casan and ka.
So these are the ways to call
parents. Otosam tochan
oi or casan
kahan. We continue with words that
refer to the
family. Let's look at the word for
older brother. Let's look at it from the
baby's perspective. Imagine that
baby esashi. I. I. So the
oldest child is the older brother. Older brother
is
called
onisam,
nicham,
Aniki. Big sister
esesam, nechan, aniki.
Any of these words can be used, but the
first onisan and the older sister onesam
are a little more formal, more
respectful. And the others like nichan and
aniki and
nechaneki are a little more intimate, more
friendly, but you can use any
of these to refer to older brother
or
older sister. Other words regarding
people, people is
milestone. We have this word senpai.
You know her. Senpai is a word to
refer to, for example, if you are in
school, students who are in years
above you. Senai. Senai indicates a
person with more experience than
us.
Senpai. Now, some adjectives.
Adjectives indicate what something is like. In this
case, something may be sugoy. Sugoy is
super amazing.
Sugoy. This word is used a lot when
we are admiring something, isn't it? We say
sugoy
omosiroy
interesting.
Delicious umai. Before we studied a word
that also means delicious and
esishi. Umay is a synonym.
Umai. Now it's
hot for you. Aty refers to the weather. It's
very hot now. Atsi, but also if you
touch something it's
ati samui cold. Samui. It's just
about the weather. When you touch something you don't
say Samui. Just weather.
Samui. We have these words, their
informal equivalents, that you
will hear in anime. Sugoy say it
like
suge. Omosiroy omosire.
Umai umi
ai. Samu
[Music]
sami. Some
prayers.
Senay, do you remember senpai? someone who
has more experience than us and his
super
amazing [ __ ] senpai
suoi sumoa omiro. Sumo is
interesting. Sumoa omiro.
This is the one
that
goes, goes. And we already have some
sentences with
this. Other words: cheer up, gambare.
When you're supporting someone at a
game or someone's running and you
say, "Come on, go ahead,
gambare." And this word is also very
common in anime. In a fight they say,
"Die
chiné, chiné."
These were some examples of
words that are very common in anime
and manga. I hope you
enjoyed it. Good
work with Nichi. In this lesson we are going
to study this type of words
called
gairaigo. Gairaigo are words that
Japanese has borrowed from other languages,
primarily English, but it
has also borrowed words from French and
German. Let's look at these words.
All the examples here are of
words that come from English because
most of Gairiko comes from
English. So the words will
sound much like their
English counterparts.
Let's see. Meals. It's tabono. This word
is a Japanese word, tabémono. But
now these four things that are here,
do you know how to say them in English? Let's review
how to say them in English. We have cheese,
cheese and bacon. No, but in
English bacon.
Hamburger is hamburger yamón ham.
Now in Japanese cheese is
cheese.
Cheese. Bacon is
bacon.
Bacon. Hamburger.
Hambaga.
Hambaga. And finally, hamu. Ham. Let's
repeat.
Cheese, bacon,
hambaga,
hamu. Now we have no mime, no
drinks. Do you know these words in
English? The first milk. In Japanese it is
milk. Coffee is lame. This is a little
different because in English it's cofi,
right? But in Japanese,
cojice,
smoy,
smoy. Very
good. Now, untie. Desserts.
Untie. This is an
English word, isn't it? The desert. Desserts
come from
untied. Let's see.
Chocoreto,
ice
cream,
ceki. We
repeat. Chocoreto,
ice cream,
cek. Now, compute, words
related to the computer or
technology. There are many words that
come from English related to
technology.
The first drawing
indicates download. In Japanese it is
download.
Download. A website is called
websito.
Website. A blog. It's called blog.
Brog. The following computer
or personal computer is called Pasocon. It
happened with is from personal computer
abbreviated step by step
with and the last drawing represents the
internet. The Internet is called the
Internet.
Internet. Now, fashion, fashion. Many
mod words that have to do
with fashion also use gairaigo.
Words that come from English.
Fashion is one of
them. Here we refer to clothing and
also
accessories. Well, then shirt,
camisa is
shat scato. In English it is skirt, in
Japanese it is
scato. And the last drawing represents a
suit, right? In English it is sut sut, but
in Japanese it is sut.
Very
good. We continue with fashion, but now
with
footwear. The first word is high hir.
Hir, that's high heels, right? High
hill, but here high
hir.
Sandaru. Sandaru. Sandals.
Boot, boot boots,
boots,
boots. We continue with fashion, but
now accessories and also
makeup. The
first
ring. Now this stone is
ruby. Ruby. And the last one about makeup,
makeup, is simply called make.
A quiz for you. What words do you think
these are? Read the words and
imagine their meaning. The first
three have to do with food.
Apurpai, broccoli,
yogurt. Four and five have to do
with
fashion. Dores,
nées 6 7 and 8.
Burog
Kibodo Technology. The last two words are
places. Jer
tawa. Write the words, either in
English or Spanish, in the
comments. Good luck.
These were the Giraigo, words that
Japanese has taken from other languages,
mainly
English. Good
job
with Today we are going to learn how to make
simple sentences. Are you
ready, Ikimas?
To begin, let's study some
vocabulary.
Watashi,
sense
neco,
no
way. In case the drawings aren't very
clear, it's me.
Professor neco cat quei pastel dijungo
japanese. Let's repeat them once more.
Watashi
sense
neki
niungo. Try to memorize them because in
the next slide you are going to
say them.
Look at the drawing. You will have a few seconds
to say the
word.
Watashi
sense
neco
that no
fungus. You could say the five words
or four words. Okay, to this
vocabulary we're going to include, we're going to
add some
descriptive words.
For example, here we have
sensei and we can describe the sensei
as
homoshiroy. Homoshiroy means
interesting. The sensei is
omoiro. Now, a word for
Neco. Kawaii.
Kawai is
pretty, Neco
Kawai
Keki. Of course keki is
delicious.
[Music]
Oishi
oishi
yongo. Well, it's homosoi just like
sensei, but we'll add a
new word. Yasashi.
Yasashashi is easy. The nihongo is
yasashi. Will you agree with me?
Well, with time I think so.
Yasashashi. So we have omosiro
kawai oishi and
asashi. It takes a little time to memorize
vocabulary, but
try it. On the next slide
it's your turn to say these words.
Sensei
oriyo. It
's
so
kawaii. Keki.
Or
me. Already.
A new word, the verb to be. We are going to
need this verb to say
is. The word is
des. And we are going to use it as it is or as I am or as
we are. At the end of a word the u is
not pronounced. So this desu is going to
be des.
How would you write the following
sentences? Or how would you
say them? The cat is cute. You already know the
words
cat, neco and cute. Kawaii and it is is
des. He he is an article and in Japanese we
don't need
articles. How would you say this sentence
then? With the logic of language. In
Spanish we would say neco des
kawaií, but the structure of Spanish
is not the same as that of Japanese, so it
is not the
correct sentence. What do
we need? We need to consider
this, that there are no articles in
Japanese, so we don't need the el un
.
The verb goes at the end. Ah, now
the structure is a little clearer. That des is going to
go to the
end. And the last consideration is that we
need particles to join
words together. What are these
particles? One of the particles is the
particle. These particles are words
that
connect the words in a
sentence. The particle wa indicates the
subject or topic of the sentence and indicates
what we are
talking about. Let's see this illustrated in one
of the sentences we saw
previously. The cat is
cute. Who are we talking about? From the cat.
Neco. So, after Neco
we will use the particle wa. Neco wa.
But let's start with the words we
know. The
neco cat is es des and goes to the
end. Cute is kawaii. We have neco
kawaidires. But now we are going to use the
particle to connect what we are
talking about. Neco with
cabaires. Here is neco wa cabaires.
Do you see how at the end we have the wa in the
middle? It doesn't exist in Spanish,
but it's very important in Japanese
. Now let's practice with this
other sentence. Japanese is
interesting. Japanese is not a
mushroom. Eh, now
that's interesting. What do we
need? The wa.
Niobaides.
Nihongobaides. This is our
original image.
Now that you know how to form sentences,
try saying something with each sentence.
Let's start from
sensei. If you mean the teacher
is
interesting, then
senseiwairoids. The cat is cute. The
cat is pretty. Necoba
cabaes. Try to make the following
sentence. With what? X.
Very good. What's up,
oids? And the
last one, I hope you said it well.
Yes. Nioba
yashides. It's your turn. This is the challenge
for you. Write these six
sentences in the comments and I'll
review them.
Use the vocabulary we introduced at the
beginning. I give you the first sentence with
my name. Watashiwa
Aracelides. Watashiwa
Araselides. Now do it with your
name and you'll be able to
introduce yourself. See you next time.
Mate. Congratulations. Oas.
I congratulate you on completing this
course. I hope you have learned many
words and now have a good
Japanese vocabulary. The next step in your study
is to continue writing
Japanese, using giriragana. If you've
