I love New York !!! State that is. I've seen ‪@thecastellows‬ play there 4 times, in Malone, Jordan, Buffalo and here in Syracuse.

In Malone folks were nice and a fellow bought our drinks at a bar after the show at the Franklin County Fair there - he said it was because he loves Canadians! In Jordan a drunk at Keg's Canal Side wanted to fight .. so watchout for those hicks that go to shows. In Buffalo we were in and out but did get to the Anchor Bar for some OG chicken wings :) The bands tour manager Spencer is so nice saying hi before the Buffalo show and someone brought me the set list after too - awwww !!!

This show was at the Empower FCU Amphitheatre across the highway from the Great New York State Fair. Sweet venue. Fun tailgate partying in the parking lot before!!!

Back to this song - it shows off Mason on bass and Brad on drums of course. But Blake and Justin too, riffing on guitar and fiddle at the end. I'm a big Beatles fan so I am a critic on covers - nothing to criticize here though :)

The 'one and one and one is three' line an gesture is cool. But most importantly Ellie and Powell get to sing some lead verses in this one. My favourite performance of this cover song? That had to be in Cleveland since Lily, who saw me for the first time in Ann Arbor the night before mouthed the words "I know you, you know me" pointing to herself and me during Powell's verse - here is the song with that special moment: • The Castellows Come Together (The Beatles ...

Now which Beatle member is each of the sisters most like? I've said Lily is like Paul, playing bass and so positive. Ellie is like John, the leader playing guitar, taking on a lot of the messaging. Powell is like George - quiet but very talented. Plus a good sense of humour like him (i.e., her banjo joke). Who is Ringo then? I don't know :)
