Ain't no rivals, ain't no rivals
They can try but they're never ever slowing me down
All the rivals, that's a fine show
Close to my heart, they know we are
Undefeated, uh-huh
That's why they call me Undefeated
Hi, I'm Brad.
I'm John.
Well, we did...
Not too long ago...
A, um...
Collaboration cover.
I keep putting A in there.
Because it's a combination...
Yeah, I always say that too.
It's beatapella and it's beatpella.
Yeah, it's beatpella.
Because it's a combination of...
Well, they came up with it because it's a combination of the words beatbox and acapella.
Oh, beatpella.
That actually makes sense, beatpella.
There's beatbox acapellas.
You could say house is technically the name of the group.
But anyway, beatpella house.
Oh yeah, I always forget the house part.
Done.
They did a cover of...
Um, I think it was the, um...
2020...
I think it was the 2023...
Um,
champions tour
theme song.
I think that's what it was.
Um...
Anywho, they also did a cover of the...
Undefeated,
which was the official anthem for the
champions tour
Pacific region
in the 2024 season.
Which was released on April 12th, 2024.
As a single.
Okay.
That one was actually done by a Japanese girl group
called XG.
Probably makes more sense than Japanese.
Um,
the name, as in.
Um,
the song promotes the tournament.
The original, of course,
featured XG's distinctive vocals.
A challenging message
of fearlessly seizing moments.
They say.
Okay.
I hope you guys got that all down.
I'm not too sure I did.
Was there more?
No, that was it.
So basically they covered this one as well.
Alright.
And this was a request.
Thanks for the request.
When we did the previous one,
um,
which we really liked.
I've forgotten the name of it, of course.
The camera goes on.
Yeah, the camera goes on.
It's kind of like, I should have written that down too.
It's like, I'm not going to forget that I did.
Anyway, yeah.
Because we really liked the previous one.
Um,
it's kind of like,
oh, you should also check out the
other one that they did.
So, here we are.
Yeah.
Alright, so here we are.
Doing it.
Before we get going,
make sure you hit that like and subscribe.

Okay.
Yes.
Fix it in post.
Right.
I don't even sweat.
That's what I call a finish.
Ain't no rivals.
They can try but they're never ever slowing me down.
All the rivals.
That's a side show.
Ghost in my heart.
They know we are.
YouTube.
I know.
The background.
I thought that was a good idea.
Anyway.
Background aside.
I've said it before.
I've probably said it in just about every single one of these
you know,
a cappella beatbox songs.
It's like,
you forget there are no
instruments.
Not in a traditional a cappella group
way.
Start forgetting the lack of
or you don't notice the lack of instruments
I should say.
Yeah.
With these beatbox covers
you literally
forget
the lack of instruments
because they're busy
sounding like instruments.
Yeah.
So it's kind of,
oh wait, there's no instruments.
It's just them
with microphones.
Which is
so
cool.
Particularly impressive.
Especially the sounds they make.
Yeah.
Are able to make it.
They can try but they're never
ever slowing me down.
On arrival.
That's a side show.
Ghost in my heart.
They know we are.
Undefeated.
That's why they call me undisputed.
I'm locking up another season.
I've been up on my stats.
Now would you look at that.
I pop up with a jumper
than a Adios. Gotta go.
I'm the prima donna. Make him do the most.
Not enough. I'm just warming up.
We up in the club. Oh.
Ready to hum. Time to eat it up.
One, two step.
Look who's scared. Now you on the run.
You gon' hear my soundtrack go
dung dung dung dung. I'll be starting
riots when I pull the stun.
I got em shook. I'm on a roll. Check out my stats.
Ain't no rivals.
They can try but they're never ever slowing me down.
On arrival.
That's a side show. Ghost in my heart.
They know we are.
Undefeated.
That's why they call me undisputed.
I'm locking up another season.
I've been up on my stats.
No rap song.
As opposed to the
previous one they did.
I prefer
more of the
singing.
Yeah.
But again,
The
singing
portion of the song
just
underlines it's like
Yeah, because she's got a great voice, and it's not as clear during the rapping, I guess.
Yeah.
Which, I mean, I couldn't rap either, so I mean, honestly, that takes a talent too, but...
Yeah, I see.
I know what you mean.
It's kind of like, her voice seems crisper and clearer when she sings than when she's
rapping.
Yeah.
It seems, I don't know, it seems like she's almost rushing a little bit too much.
Yeah, but I think that's just a style of rap, I mean, I don't know anything about rapping,
so...
You know, singing it and then them all looking at the music, it's like, it's impressive no
matter what.
True.
Yeah, I mean, it's the ability to be able to come up with those sounds and figure out
how to make them and stuff.
Some of them is kind of like, yeah, it's like, okay, yeah, I can kind of see that, but then
you start getting into kind of like, wait, that sounds more like a trumpet or a trombone,
something like that.
It's kind of like, wait, what?
Yeah.
And then you get, you know, a lot of them like towards the end, sort of sound that's
kind of like, sound like something, you know, purely from a synthesizer sort of thing, kind
of like an electronic kind of, sort of sound that's kind of like, how?
Yeah.
But my poor imitation doesn't even come remotely close.
They're probably saying, what's going on?
He knows the one I'm talking about.
Yeah.
It's just, yeah.
It's just, it's an amazing talent and ability that is kind of like, yeah, it's still so
much of like, how?
It's like, yeah, I mean, I don't know what, it was a take off, I'm sorry, I don't know
how that original was, but it's like, yeah, just the same.
Probably fairly similar.
Yeah.
Okay.
I mean, you know.
I'm saying probably.
I haven't heard the original.
Just to take a song and figure out how to create it.
Yeah.
To take a piece of music with instruments and then figure out how to actually basically
do it without instruments, but still sounding like you have instruments.
Yeah.
So, yeah.
No, that was good.
I mean, I liked it.
I mean, it was great.
Yeah.
Like I said, very impressive.
I mean.
Yeah.
They always are.
I don't think very many people can do that.
Yeah.
Not at this level.
Yeah.
You have a lot of people who can sing.
Yeah.
You have a lot of people who sing.
You have a lot of people who can beatbox okay.
But, yeah.
I mean, doing it at what is effectively competition winning level is a big step up from what most
people actually do.
Well, we're definitely going to check them out some more.
Yes.
